This company is essentially a criminal Enterprise ..they take your money and close your account without any notice whatsoever before closing or any explanation afterwards... that's the violation of due process. They owe me. The second time that's happened to me to remind the first time I woke up today to look at some messages only to find an email saying your account is closed look at our community guidelines before you proceed any further the community guidelines I just boilerplate language about the standards that's actually community guidelines are actually a request for for the spending on the part of the client in terms of background checks and all kinds of checks they have a check for everything imaginable except for themselves stay away stay far away. I believe now that the violation that I committed with not spending enough money on unnecessary checks. Spend spend spend

They required me to accept policies that I didn't agree with to access use of their site. They did so after charging my credit card and wouldn't issue a refund.

I thought this was a professional company and would be a great way to earn extra money. I was sadly mistaken. I really wish I would have read the thousands of 1 star reviews first. There’s a reason they are a 1 star company. 1. Anyone can message you through the app. Someone tried to obtain my personal info the 2nd day of my membership. Super sketch. 2. You can message about a job, but they can’t respond back unless they have purchased a membership. Pointless. 3. You’re required to pay $25 for a background check, yet people posting jobs are not verified, have no photo, and very minimal information. Again, Super sketch. 4. The few jobs that are listed show 87 days old, 152 days old, and so on. Nothing is current. Update much? 5. The app sucks. There is no support for setting up your profile, searching for jobs, applying for jobs, no tutorial videos, customer service #’s, nada. It’s pretty ridiculous. 6. The biggest time and money waster I’ve experienced in quite some time. 7. Research and read reviews to avoid this type of nonsense!

We are preschool providers. Signed up with Care.com to have more exposure so we can get more kids enrolled, but we got only one in three months. Not only that, all of the parents who "needed child care" never answered their phones, emails, or sms. Customer service is the worst. They will get back to you in a few days or a week, but that is not the problem. I really don't know how they advertise their website, but my web developer looks like doing a much better job in advertising, because we show up on the first page, with very little budget, Care.com on the second page or later. Read their contract policy (They do not guarantee anything, but you have to sign a one-year contract). We made a huge mistake by just tasting them and what they were offering, without reviewing their reviews and whether they are actually advertised. Now we are stuck with an extra $300 expense for the next 10 months, and no results. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH CARE.COM If you have a website, you spend this $300 on Google, and get a lot more exposure. Make your money worth it, not waisted like we did.

I subscribed in February 2025 for a year. After about a week or two of checking out the site, I determined it wasn’t what I was looking for, so I cancelled the auto renew after only about 2 weeks. Fast forward to a year later and care billed me $155 for another year. They didn’t care and would only refund a small portion of what they billed for the new years subscription, even though I had cancelled near my a year earlier. When I pressed for the full amount, they wouldn’t budge, even though it was their fault and I had never used them heir service. AVOID CARE.COM LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are terrible, do not care about their customers and very poor customer service.

I cancelled my plan and then they are basically saying I am lying and I didn't but I know I did and they stole $45 and won't refund me for there mistake. Don't use this company !

The service was decent while I was using it. They handled payroll for several nannies I employed over the years. I inactivated my account in October 2024 and they kept charging me a quarterly fee. It is impossible to delete bank account information on their website if you want to keep access to your payroll records. I contacted the company in January 2025 and they assured me there would be no further charges. I realized today that they have still been charging me quarterly, to the tune of almost $500 over the past year and a half. Yes, I should be paying much better attention but frankly I should be able to trust that after I contacted them once about this, the charges would stop. If there is not a class action suit against these people already, there should be.

They've been charging $42/month on a Guest plan (which is supposed to be free, and they agree I have a Guest plan and that Guest plans are free), can't find charges when I call, won't give me a complaint/report/ticket number for my call to them, say they don't have any supervisors, and tried to get my personal banking info. I still haven't been able to talk to anyone who can look into it, so I'm currently out hundreds of dollars and they don't even know why. Stay far away.
