My experience with Care.com was great. A number of caregivers with varying backgrounds contacted me. I was able to find one who fit my needs perfectly. It is possible to deal with the caregiver personally about what they can and cannot do. The process was much more flexible than my experience with the more traditional home care agencies. I highly recommend them.

My previous Care.com housekeeper moved. At first, I contacted 8 people for housecleaning. I got no response! The following week I contacted 10 cleaners and got three responses. One of them I interviewed and hired for house cleaning and gardening. The second one can only work evenings, but I hired her to help with gardening (The yard work has been waiting for years) and deep cleaning: cupboards, the basement, the garage, etc.) The third one I interviewed and hired for a one-time session of gardening.
