This is a scam
This is a scam. I signed up for a month paying a one off £20 in September. Since then they have taken £25 out of my bank account per month. There is absolutely no access via email or on their website to speak to anyone or to stop these payments and get a refund. They now have literally stolen £75. Do not use!

Do not sign up
Do not sign up. They’ll charge your card without authorization for a background check without any notice. And they’ll refuse to refund you no matter the circumstance. Terrible customer service.

Care.com is a joke
Care.com is a joke. The website and the app are junk. You still have to run your own background checks. We interviewed several people who just completely flaked. You have to pay even to just read messages. Don't waste your money

The ultimate gaslighter
Care.com continually try to remove my negative review and experience claiming firstly that the review is fake, and then secondly that it’s a review for a different domain (aka competitor). Shame on you, care.

I would not even give it one star
I would not even give it one star. This is a scam. The people are not verified as they say and I paid the additional fee for background checks and can’t use it. I contacted the “chat” for customer support. They emailed and asked to verify the purchase. When I sent the screen shot as requested they still closed the ticket. Paid $50 over two months for nothing. The supposed care givers all have fake references. And there is no way to report things without saying who you are. Don’t use this cite.

Don't sign up, it's a waste of time without paying. And from the other reviews I've since read its just a waste of money when you do pay.

Avoid, no customer service, no phone numbers
Please avoid. Wish we would have checked with BBB before proceeding with this business. There is no phone numbers on their website, just a "chat". We wanted to get our daughter some babysitting service to help her during holidays. We paid the $155 annual Premium subscription, rather than the monthly. Within 24 hours of signing up, we were advised our account was no closed and no refunds. We can only assume we did something wrong signing up, but no phone numbers are reason why it was cancelled. We got the charge on the our credit card statement, it had a phone number for billing, we called them, and all they will say is "Per T and C's no refunds are given." Their T and C's also say they cancel at anytime for any reason or none. And we would only be out $16 if we paid for the monthly service. This is mindboggling. When reading other customers of CARE.com who also had problems, instead of giving them a phone number, they send them to Facebook Messenger. There is nobody to talk to and resolve the issue. Per Care.com response, we did call the number on the credit card statement, only thing they responded with is "Care.com does not offer refunds."
