If I could give 0 stars I quite literally WOULD. After paying the 15$ dollars or so for a background check, my account was suspended for something coming up that I was never even convicted of. I had families messaging me that I couldn’t even reply to. I can’t get ahold of absolutely anyone on the care.com team, customer service is absolutely terrible. I babysit for work and have worked in multiple daycares and have never failed a background check because I have never been convicted, and was never convicted of what they suspended my account for. I can’t even log into my account to use the “help” option. What kind of dogsh!t company is this?? I’d love to use this stupid app if my account wasn’t suspended and if there was half decent customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!! I subscribed their Premium for a month because there is a promotional fee. But I did not realize that I will be continuously charged without any notification for the consecutive months. I have been robbed for more than $1000!!!! I made this complaint to the customer agent. All I got are the similar messages just like those shown below. Also, they encourage you to subscribe Premium to get more information and help. But actually that does not make any difference. If there is zero star choice, I would choose that instead of right now one star. I wish I would have seen the reviews three years ago for this bad company. I realized that I am not the only one. There are so many similar cases!!! My New Year's wish is that someone will file a lawsuit against this company for this auto-renew scam.

I paid about $100 for this subscription without a single job working out. They AUTOMATICALLY ENROLL YOU IN AUTOPAY and that's how these scammers make their money. I hope a bigger competitor will come around soon and put them out of business!

Ik ben al tijden bezig mijn abonnement bij Care.com op te zeggen. Ik betaal er al maanden voor, heb meerdere mails gestuurd maar geen opzeggingsbevestiging! Wel wordt maandelijks een bedrag van 35 euro afgeschreven terwijl ik dat niet wil! Kan ik het juiste e-mailadres ontvangen ??

Care.com messaging system would not allow me to message applicants. Tried contacting them, and was sent to technical services -- was on hold for too long. Decided to cancel as I just started, and did not want to deal with the hassle. Requested a refund through the chat, was told they could not, tried calling to speak with a person, and was disconnected while holding.

When you are presented with a list of subscription options, the annual subscription which costs around 200 total or something has a cost of 13 or whatever next to it (for monthly breakdown). After processing, it told me the total charged was 200 because apparently I had selected the wrong subscription and it was actually an annual one. Not a minute had passed and I was talking to customer support who said under no circumstances do they offer refunds and also do not offer phone customer support.

I was unable to post a review of my pet sitter so I went on their customer service chat. More than 20 minutes later I'm finally told I need to upgrade to their most recent version of the app. I do this and still my review does not post on my pet sitter's profile. He is missing opportunities for jobs, and he tells me of other jobs he had done and his clients told him the same thing: they could not post a review. Today I went back on the customer service chat and now they're telling me it takes 72 hours. Even if that were true, why did others' reviews not show up when they were done weeks ago? And if that is their policy, how does that help me if someone gets a bad review and I hire them a day after the bad review? I need that information sooner than 3 days later! So, bottom line, hard pass. They won't refund me so the best I can hope for is to cancel my subscription when it comes up for renewal. Update: As of January 24, 2024 there is still no review posted for my pet sitter. Seriously useless.
