I got one great job thru Care.dot com.Then? they started charging me 40$ here,$60$ there.I was able to stop it,but months later,I was lookig for another job and tried to sign up. DONT DO IT!!! Its all in an "App" now. You cannot,for love or money contact a real person.Zero customer service, and at one point? I started getting nasty scam emails thru Care.com. So,you have to pay monthly for the app PLUS? The fees to Care.com every 3 months..What a shame tho,cause until last fall? They were a good resource.What happened? Who destroyed it with greed?

Terrible service. You message people and they never reply and you try and post a job and it just gets rejected with no explanation. You get no service and then they refuse to refund your money even though they can see you haven’t got what you paid for. Don’t touch this service it’s a scam!

When I tried to cancel this subscription, the site puts a lot of gates into the process to make it difficult for the user. On the last screen where you think you're going to be able to cancel, the cancellation button does not work. This is a consumer scam.

Absolute trash. I posted a job and got no applicants. I tried to cancel and it put me through an endless loop that wouldn't allow me to cancel (seemed to be a bug in the app). So I contacted customer service, and the chat rep just disappeared for 20 minutes in the middle of our conversation. Basically they just stole $67 and a bunch of my time. What a waste.

Absolutely horrible website. Aside from the amazing families I have been able to meet via care.com, the actual website has caused me so many issues. It is one of the worst websites I have ever used. Twice now my bio has been deleted and re-written NOT BY ME. My entire bio was deleted and someone else re-wrote a bio for me (twice!) that was shorter and not at all the way I would typically write - someone else had re-written my complete bio to say vague things about childcare. The messaging system is also absolutely terrible and most of the time parents or families and I have to switch to text or email to be able to actually communicate. I constantly receive emails saying "so and so wants to hear back from you!" but when I view the message, the actual recipient of the email was someone else and it says so in the original message. I'm not sure if parents know many of their messages just get re-directed to other caregivers like myself even though they never directly intended to message me. I have multiple reviews that show on the app but apparently on the desktop version it does not show reviews, though it still has a spot for them so if you review my page on the desktop it doesn't show I have any reviews. I just cannot say enough negative things about this website.

They make you pay for a service that does not exist By then its too late!!!!

There is NO customer service. I paid for a premium membership and was never able to log into my account. I had to dispute the charges and now my card is blocked all because they don't know how to run a website or app. HORRIBLE!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WORK HERE!!!

ZERO STARS. If you are doing this in CANADA NOTE: they have no direct customer service. It is all done by an answering service that DOES NOT respond. I had to call the US customer service line (which has real people answering) and beg them to have someone BEG the Canadian people to respond to me. Still no answer. Here is my issue: I tried to renew my subscription but the account had the wrong zip code. It would not let me set it to the right one. I didn't realize this until I tried to make payment 3 times. To my surprise, with the WRONG zip code it still was able to take my payment all three times. BUT, I still never got access to the site to check the pending messages from the nannies I was contacting. No harm, no foul, I figured I'd call in and get it handled. That's when I found out that the customer service was for the US accounts only, and Canadian accounts were routed to an abyss they called a "voice mail". multiple voice mails and days later, no answer. Finally, I decided to beg the US people to think of WHO internally they could talk to that had any idea how to dredge up someone from this Canadian "voice mail" land. Still waiting...
