Trying my best to start pet-sitting to gain some income but Care.com is only functional behind a subscription. What kind of company is structured so you have to pay them to get work? This is simply atrocious and I am doubly upset because of all the messages I have received from potential clients. I cannot pet-sit for them because I cannot message back due to having no subscription. If Care.com took commission from any service then I would understand but I cannot even begin to provide that service because these greedy people want to swindle workers and clients before anything has happened. I hope others do not fall for Care.com because it is the least caring company I have ever had the displeasure of engaging with.

I tried to hire Lauren G fir mornings with Sweet Pea and couldn't find a confirmation button. Despite the job lasting 2 weeks, the job had EXPIRED so when I tried to find Lauren in the app. she wasn't there. I reached out to her by email and asked her to apply again. I'm going on 24 hours of trying to hire a half hour of dog care in my home while I recover from surgery. Also, I can only accomplish this in your app, but when I go into your app, the only option it gives me is to post another job. You also don't allow me to type a descof what I'm looking for. What I wanted wax not any of your prefab choices. You also didn't allow me to list 2 different times each day, forcing me to hire w different people at a higher price. I deeply regret paying a year's subscription to your site.Ivehad to contact customer service 3 X and now have to contact them again when I get back from my post op with my surgeon when I'm in pain and exhausted.This is the worst working app I've ever used.

I have gotten several jobs on care.com. I greatly appreciate the service. The app on the other hand is difficult to use and glitchy. It is hard to work with. Something is wrong with the IT department. I have never had problems with any web sites except Care.com. The same problems have existed for years. I just hope someone gets serious about it. Again, I am grateful for the service.
