The website isn't user friendly, I'd see different people offered on different days and not even in my location. I didn't find anyone suitable for my job and I only received 2 responses from the 10 people I contacted. Of these 10 about half were in a reasonable travel distance for the job anyway. It was very lacking in all areas. One told me she lives in another area but the website wont let her update it accurately. The other agreed to call and did not. I was also contacted offering a completely different service by someone who lives the opposite end of the country. Costs a lot for absolutely nothing. Cannot recommend using this site.

Years ago I tried several times to find a daily sitter with no luck for a decent cost. I did not realize at the time that a 'year membership' really meant 'annual non-refundable subscription'. Years later, they're still charging me and will not refund even a prorated amount for the remainder of this year. Moreover, in order to find any information about even having a subscription, I had to search through multiple links on the site and the cancellation link was even further buried and I'm small print. Unacceptable business practices and unethical policies.

No… person contacted did not follow through… very disappointed Will look again… However someone wanted hourly wage $50!! Need to be vetted better!

Care.com is a joke. They make you pay to view your messages but all the messages are just a copy and paste canned reply that are not relevant to the job post. We post the pay in the job description but every single person who replied wanted more pay than the job description so it was just a waste of everyone’s time. We didn’t find one qualified candidate on care.com that I didn’t also see on the local Facebook nanny pages (which are free). Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

Finger weg. Ich habe eine Suche gestartet, daher die 89.- Fr bezahlt. Nach 2 Wochen das Inserat gestoppt. Doch bis jetzt bezahle ich das Abo. Im Juli habe ich noch einmal das Abo gekündigt, aber es wird aus der Karte abgezogen bis jetzt. Jetzt habe ich die Karte blockiert und das Profil gelöscht. Ich meine, wenn man Job als Betreuung sucht, es geht ums Geld. Ich habe in März eine Teilzeit Stelle bekommen und musste dringend jemand suchen, der zu Hause mein Kind über Mittag betreut. Als ich das Inserat posten wollte, habe ich die Meldung gesehen, dass es 89.- Fr kostet für einen Monat. Dass es stillschweigend verlängert wird, habe ich nirgendwo Information bekommen. Daher habe ich angenommen, dass Inserat nach einen Monat nicht mehr gültig sein wird. Ich habe das Inserat nach 2 Wochen gelöscht, da keine Interessente gefunden habe. Trotzdem werden jeden Monat am 13. Tag, 89.- Fr. von meiner Kreditkarte verbucht. Eine Zahlungsbestätigung habe ich nie bekommen. Durch diese konnte ich nachvollziehen was passiert. Ich finde das einfach kriminell.

I signed up hoping to find a last minute sitter for our Pekingese while I attended a family funeral. My review is simply this, a sitter confirmed she was available and then cancelled 2 hours before due, on a weekend, leaving me no other options. Not a good reflection or review for your services.

I hired a caregiver who I end up falsely raving about. I paid her more than she asked just to take mom out for walks or walk around stores. Her list of 100 things she can do got really short after I hired her. She never remembered receipts, promises the moon and doesn’t deliver, I think she made more promises of going to do something and just lied to make me think it will happen. I had the membership for months and very few responses for what seemed fairly easy. It was a big waste and should have just hired a professional from a service instead of trying to save a buck.

BEWARE OF THIS MISLEADING COMPANY. I set up an an account in 2021 as a new mum needing help. I believed I was signing up for 1 month. I had no idea that I had set up an auto-renew subscription. Three and a half years later, we discovered we've been charged $45 per month - over $1,700 of fees. This is a scam. Every other subscription app reminds you before they charge, we received zero communication. I hadn't logged in to care.com since 2021. I reached out to their customer support who blew me off saying "sorry you weren't aware of the T&Cs" - BECAUSE THEY WERE MISLEADING! There's a reason this company has just been fined $8.5m for misleading customers. I've requested a refund... Will update if I hear back but at this stage nothing.
