Can not message person without paying $150.00 first. Then app shows job was closed when it was not and Care took money from card on file. Person didn't show up first weekend Aug 31 and Sept 1 due to child was sick. So I cancel those two day as no show due to child. Then Sept 7 Care app showed was canceled contacted through app to see why and they showed still good and person was scheduled to show also took money from account on file. Person did not show again not sure if she cancel job due to no longer able to meet. But I put in no show again and Sept 7 canceled the job altogether since person was not showing up. Your app is hard to use and hard to communicate with person who answered job.

Terrible. The respite I hired for my son was a complete disaster. I told him exactly what he was getting into an he assured me that he knew what he was doing. ..HE DIDN’T. Quit after 2 days because he couldn’t handle what I have done every single day for 20 years.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience on Care.com. The information provided on the site is often unclear, making it difficult to understand how the membership charges and services work. When I reached out to customer service for support, I received no real help—just generic responses that didn’t address my concerns, didn’t provide a solution, and didn’t offer a good experience. On top of that, despite multiple attempts to get assistance with an issue, Care.com refused to provide a refund for a service I was unable to use due to their unclear charging methods. It feels like they’re more interested in taking your money than actually supporting their customers. I expected much better from a platform that’s supposed to help families and caregivers. I would not recommend Care.com to anyone new trying based on my experience.

I needed some to take my daughter to her bus stop and be at my apartment by 6:50 am. At 6:52, I texted her and found out that she wouldn’t be arriving until 7:02. I needed to leave at 7 and could not wait. My daughter missed school today.

The potential caregiver never responded to my initial communication so I cancelled the service ( getting a confirmation of cancellation) however your service sent me a notice if the expectant caregiver coming. No one showed up. I need a full refund please ! The changes to your system do not allow “ Vetting” or face to face interview. I have a specialty job needed to feed and care for horses which needs a thorough evaluation before anyone comes due to liability issues. I will not be using your service again. Dr. Annie Prescott
