In business for over 59 years, and second-generation family-owned as well as second-generation veteran-owned, we specialize in commercial and residential flagpole installation, service, and sales. We also offer only US-made flags, banners, and custom corporate flags for sale.We install only commercial-quality flagpoles, even at residences. We do not install inexpensive sectional or telescoping flagpoles, though we do offer them for sale at our Raleigh, NC location. Whether it is a 100' flagpole for your industrial complex or a 65' flagpole on top of your office building or hotel, or a beautiful 20' flagpole for your home, we have the expertise to help you with your project. We also service and repair flagpoles. We have been climbing and repairing flagpoles, and painting flagpoles for over 59 years! An experienced flagpole climber is far less expensive than hiring a crane and a crew to lift someone, who might not have the experience required in the first place, up to do the repairs. If you are interested in a proposal, please submit an RFP to our email address at [email protected] for a prompt response!9

I have never sent a review on anyone. You are correct, the one star is not correct. There was no fault assigned to your company. Your employees quick correction does indeed show that it was a mistake!
Well I had to call to see why I had not received any confirmation or feedback on my order. Very nice lady apologized and looked it up. She said it looked to her like my order had shipped to the wrong address, even though she had order and it was correct there.
She was very nice, and said it will go out again yesterday 🤔

Lynn Thanks so much for the correction. I told my office staff to put $10 of store credit on your account for the next time you purchase, just as our way of saying thank you.

Our experience
6 months after install, our clutch went out. We called and reported the clutch was no longer holding our flag up and we've found our flag laying on the ground two days in a row. We played phone tag for a few weeks before being put on a service schedule. When they came out a couple weeks later they told me our clutch was out and they would need to order one. That would take a couple weeks. While waiting, our poleball came off and broke. We were told it's not covered under warranty and the flag must have wrapped around it and 'unscrewed it' but when it fell, the clutch on the pole was broken so we were not hanging a flag. The ball brought to replace the broken one was smaller, and a different color. The ball was inexpensive but the charge to put it on was about 1000 dollars. The club decided to leave it alone because we don't think it's worth another charge of that amount. Due to the company's willingness to rectify our issues we've moved our review from 2/5 to 4/5

Mr. Kobey, We appreciate your review and are sorry your not happy. However, We came out there within the timeline you requested, which was on or before 10/2/2024. Once there we determined that your winch, an $800 part was bad and we ordered for you, at no cost, a replacement, which we had to wait to be shipped to us. As soon as it arrived we came right out and replaced the winch per your warranty. Prior to coming out, you were given a written estimate of the uncovered charges, if any, which you approved. The only thing added to that proposal was the cost of the ball. The ball was not a warranted item, as either lightning or the flag wrapping it blew the ball apart, and off of the flagpole. The ball was destroyed, not "unscrewed". We had to physically remove the broken ball stem, with the threads on it, from out of the top of the flagpole in order to put the new one on.
All balls are from the same manufacturer and are the same shape, i.e. "round". If you would like a larger ball, we would be more than happy to put one up for you, at no service cost, giving you a 100% discount for the ball already purchased to be put towards a larger ball. The ball put up for you that day was an 8" ball and is sufficient for the flagpole if you desire to keep that one. All balls are all the same color "gold anodized".
You were told it was not warranted, and asked the day we did the warranty repair if you wanted us to fix it, to which you and your associate both said yes! I told you the cost of the ball at that discussion. The only thing we charged you in addition to your written proposal was the cost of that ball. Which was $229. If you had not wanted us to fix the ball, we would not have charged you a penny, because the rest of the job was a warranty repair. However, since you wanted the ball fixed, we had to climb the flagpole, do the repair, and that was billable. The price we charge to climb a 45-50' flagpole is a set fee of $787.50. You cant even rent a lift, or crane for that price, so i think we provided a valuable service for you. I am happy to discuss this with you if you like, perhaps we can work something out.

Came same day we called for service

Mr. Pratt, firstly, thanks for your review! To be fair we did not quote you to clean the flagpole, nor do we recommend using detergents on aluminum flagpoles, as it would remove the protective patina caused by aluminum oxide forming. That patina is what prevents corrosion of the flagpole and should not be removed. If you did want to remove it however, let us know next time and we can quote you for resurfacing the flagpole instead of just changing your rope, snap hooks and snap hook covers, along with painting the gold ball and re-sealing your foundation. If you want to discuss anything we did please give me a call and we can discuss. We have a separate service for cleaning and/or painting flagpoles as it takes several hours. If on the other hand the part which you feel is not clean, if that was caused by us, let me know and I will send a technician out to clean it for you.
