Waited All Day
I like that my old car can help a non-profit continue to do their good work. I like that it was easy to setup the car pickup. I like that the exchange was easy; fill out my part of the title and sign one receipt. What I did not like was that I was offered a 4-hour window of time for the pickup (6-10 am), so I took half a day off work but the truck arrived after 1:00 pm. If your driver can't stick to a four-hour schedule, don't offer that over the phone. I would have chosen a different day. Then the guy who bought my car at auction contacted me (how did he get my contacts?) and said the Capital Auto Auction lost both of the keys! Now he can't even get in the vehicle.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We are sorry the pickup didn't happen within the promised window and for the key issue. We'll look into the scheduling and how the buyer got your contact information to prevent this in the future. We value your feedback.
