Cape Air does not care about their customers
This airline does not stand by its contracts or customers. I had an experience with them in PR that shows that contracts and customer support are not important to this airline. I guess that's the result of a market monopoly. I made a reservation to connect from SJ to Maz on Sept 3, 2026 several months ago. My flight time was changed 3 times from the time that I purchased the ticket. The last change occurred while I was in route to SJ, like I had access to the information. Before boarding in Miami I called their Customer Support to indicate that I could be a few minutes late as my connecting flight was a bit delayed. I arrived 15 minutes before the plane was scheduled to depart yet was denied boarding. According to the flight time I had when I boarded the connecting flight that afternoon I had arrived 45 minutes prior to boarding. Cape Air not only denied me boarding but did not give me a credit for a flight that I could had boarded. In my opinion they violated the contract we had. They offered a flight for the next day but no compensation to cover hotel expenses or meals for that night. I rented a vehicle and traveled to my destination on my own dime and time. I opened a request for a refund and was denied. All that i am asking is for what I believe is fair, a credit for the ticket they wouldn't let me use and a reimbursement for the rental car and tolls I had to pay because of their breach of contract. I don't think that is unreasonable.
