Cammie is truly incredible! When our family made the decision to explore boarding school for our son, we had absolutely no idea where to begin. Being from Louisiana, the boarding school world was completely new to us, and we didn’t know what to expect or even which schools would be the best fit. From the moment we contacted Cammie over the summer, she immediately took the time to get to know our son and understand his personality, strengths, and what we were looking for in a school. Within a week, she had helped us identify schools and arranged visits and tours. Her knowledge, experience, and connections were invaluable throughout the entire process. What impressed us most was how well Cammie understood that finding the right school is about so much more than academics. She helped us focus on where our son would truly be happy, comfortable, and able to thrive. She guided us through every step, answered countless questions, and made what initially felt like an overwhelming process so much easier. Cammie quite literally dropped everything to help our daughter navigate the boarding school application process—and, ultimately, gain admission to all of her dream schools. Because of unusual timing and other circumstances, we began the process well after traditional application deadlines, yet with Cammie’s extraordinary guidance, deep experience and steady hand, we successfully completed the entire process in well under a month. Her reputation preceded her. Schools clearly knew and respected her legacy as a counselor, and that credibility was matched by the remarkable care she brought to our family. To our daughter, Cammie became not only a trusted and insightful advisor, but also a beloved, cheerful and reassuring confidante throughout what could easily have been an overwhelming process. We cannot thank her enough for her wisdom, generosity, responsiveness and genuine commitment to our daughter’s success. I cannot say any more wonderful things. Camille was a godsend. We didn’t know anything about the boarding school world and she was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Her warm, comforting attitude was essential in helping my daughter (applying as a sophomore to elite Northeast schools) feel confident and prepared for the process and her applications. Finally, the results speak for themselves - she got into all the top schools she applied to and will be starting in the fall.

Cammie @ Campus Direction is the GOAT. I mean it. Seriously. A kinder, more genuine, more helpful, more knowledgeable, more connected, harder working educational consultant you will not find, no matter where and how hard you look. Her service is invaluable. Is it pricey to hire an educational consultant? Yes. But with Cammie, do you get your value x infinity? Also yes! I truly don’t think I could have navigated the boarding school application process for my daughter without her. I was a typical stressed and clueless “first timer” and I felt like I was in over my head and had no idea where to even begin. Enter Cammie. She knows everything about every school, and if you happen to have a question she doesn’t already know the answer to, she will use her plethora of contacts to find the answer before you can blink twice. I was, I’m pretty sure, on the upper end of the “annoying” scale as far as clients go, but she never made me feel that way. For reference, we visited 10 schools and applied to 8, 3 of which we applied to AFTER THE DEADLINE, which we were only able to do because of Cammie, we saved nearly all of our essay writing for the last few weeks before the deadline (I do not recommend this tactic, lol), and had about 1.1 million questions about every single tiny little detail along the way. Yeah. And there’s more, but you haven’t got all day. Do it. Just hire her. You will not regret it. She will hold your hand as much or as little as you need, answer your zillions of questions, take the time to get to know you and your amazing kid, advocate tirelessly on your behalf, and see you across the finish line. Oh, and not for nothing, but my daughter got into all EIGHT schools that she applied to, most of which were really top schools. Coincidence? We’ll never know. ;)

What a pleasure it was working with, and getting to know, Cammie Bertram of Campus Direction! Our son knew early on that he wanted to attend boarding school and we began working with Cammie when he was in 7th grade. As parents, we went to public High School, so we felt like we were flying blind in looking at boarding schools prior to meeting Cammie. Cammie was invaluable in educating us on the wide variety of opportunities, the qualities, cultures and unique personality that every school has. From assisting with interview strategies, to making sure the schools have a good understanding of your child prior to visits, to helping with essays and applications, Cammie does it all. After a long journey of visits, interviews and essays, our son got into many schools, including his top choices. We were able to narrow it down to 2 schools and were nervous about the final decision. Cammie told us we would just know after revisiting. She was right! The final choice was obvious to us and our son and we have so much confidence that he has found the right new “home” for his next 4 years. I can’t imagine what it would have been like, or where he would have ended up if it weren’t for Cammie. Cammie! from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much, you are amazing.
