our experience with campers inn of knoxville has been a masterclass in poor communication, missed deadlines, and lack of attention to detail.
we dropped off our airstream in may for repairs, only to endure months of delays, unanswered calls and emails, and repeated frustration trying to get updates. despite knowing we needed it for a planned october trip, they failed to have it ready, forcing us to pay for alternative accommodations.
when we were finally told it was ready for pickup, i drove out only to find residue and grime on the windows, drapes that hadn’t been rehung, and construction debris scattered across our bedding. apparently, “ready” doesn’t include cleaning up after yourself or actually putting things back together.
to top it off, they never addressed a leaking skylight that i had specifically requested they repair.
nearly five months, abysmal communication, unfinished work, and a camper returned in unacceptable condition. the entire experience demonstrated a remarkable lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for the customer.
i would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for airstream service.

⭐ 1 STAR
⭐ 1 STAR — FOUR WEEKS, HOURS OF DRIVING, REPEATED PROMISES, AND ALMOST NOTHING DONE
Our experience with Campers Inn RV in Knoxville was completely unacceptable.
We called ahead and were explicitly told by an Airstream service representative that we had an appointment for Friday, August 14 at 9:00 a.m. We planned our trip around that appointment and drove approximately 8 HOURS from our vacation destination to this dealership on our way home.
When we arrived, we discovered NO APPOINTMENT HAD EVER BEEN MADE FOR US—not for August 14 and not for a future date. After driving eight hours based on an appointment we were told we had, this was an unbelievable way to begin our experience.
Our main concern was a leak in the bedroom ceiling. We were told there was a hole in the conduit going to the A/C, yet the panel wasn't even removed to properly inspect the area and verify that diagnosis.
We agreed to leave the RV after being told parts would need to be ordered and panels removed to address the A/C issue. We specifically requested that Joe, the Airstream technician, be the only technician to work on our RV. We also asked them to check the brakes, perform a 12-point inspection, replace the shower door, and repair a short in the couch wiring.
When we returned later that same day to retrieve our belongings, we discovered someone from service had used the restroom in our RV. We then asked that the black tank be drained promptly so sewage wouldn't sit in it while the RV was there.
Our RV then sat at their facility for FOUR WEEKS.
During those four weeks, we repeatedly contacted the service department and were repeatedly told the technician would “get right on it.” Yet other Airstreams that arrived after ours were being worked on first.
When we questioned this, a service representative told us those Airstreams had smaller jobs, so they were working on them ahead of ours.
So while we continued being told they would “get right on” our RV, later arrivals with smaller jobs were being moved ahead of us. Meanwhile, our RV continued to sit.
After FOUR WEEKS, the short in the couch wiring had been repaired and a screw in the A/C mount had been replaced.
THAT WAS IT.
The main reason we brought the RV there—the bedroom ceiling leak—was still not resolved, along with most of the other work we requested.
We finally contacted the service manager CHRIS, who assured us he would come up with a solution and CALL US BACK.
That call never came.
By September 12, we had had enough. We drove another 3½ HOURS to Knoxville simply to pick up our RV and take it back.
We understand that service departments get busy. What we don't understand is repeatedly telling a customer their technician will “get right on it,” while openly acknowledging that RVs arriving later are being worked on first because their jobs are smaller.
This wasn't simply a delay. It was poor organization, poor communication, lack of follow-through, and ultimately a failure to address the primary reason we brought our RV there in the first place.
After an appointment that was never actually made, hours of driving, four weeks of waiting, repeated assurances, other Airstreams being moved ahead of ours, no promised callback from management, and unfinished work, WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR RV SERVICE.

Update on issue with Campers Inn
Update on issue with Campers Inn
Update on my tremendous troubles with this company. 2 months later we finally got a refund from our own Bank on our credit card, for the fraudulent charges from Campers Inn that were never reimbursed despite the fact that Campers Inn multiple times IN Writing confirmed ‘the check is on the way’. Anyway, that part is now finally solved.
2nd part is the refund for the dead batteries on purchase of a new +150K RV, as of today and with multiple confirmations in writing from Colin (Campers Inn Knoxville), Dusty (Regional), Chris (Georgia) and corporate, ‘check is sent, it’s taken care of’ to ‘let me check on it’ NO CHECK has arrived today.
So again, we have another 4 people straight up lying to your face, including corporate. I have no other choice than to post this to make people aware of this company,
As of today, I will file with the Better Business Bureau and if this will not get me my money back for the dead batteries on a brand new RV, I will personally take them to small claim court, just to see the judge ruling on this. This is not about money, this is about (fill in your own thoughts).
Buyer aware!
PS. Don’t reply with your wecare..... if not even corporate cares, who else does?

Poor purchase experience and no professionalism
My wife and I tried to purchase a Newmar class A diesel from campers inn Merrimack New Hampshire. Started the process in mid May 2026. Visited Merrimack to inspect the coach only to find at least a dozen issues that needed repair. At the same time we negotiated a price including our coach as a trade. After the deal was made we discovered that Newmar had a $15,000 customer cash incentive available. Sales manager said he was not aware of the incentive in one sentence and then stated it was already included in the pricing. Finally, we cancelled the purchase. My wife and I had a deposit that we asked be refunded. We texted the sales manager at least four times with no response. Also called the general manager twice and received no response at all. The entire process was far less than professional and I would never do business with this organization!!

CAMPERS INN NIGHTMARE
I purchased SUNNYBROOK RAVEN 3300CK from Campers Inn RV of Davenport August 2025. The sales purchase was handled through Christopher Albert Sales Professional Campers Inn RV of Richfield WI. Immediately around the second week after the purchase I started experiencing problems with the Camper. With the purchase of the camper, a new water heater tank was installed. On August 29, 2025, I informed Chris that the pilot light was not working on the stove, the propane tanks weren’t working. He informed that he would help get this settled. He told me he was waiting to hear back from Davenport about the a/c that not working, the propane tanks not working and the regulator.
On 9/8/25 Chris told me that he was informed that an aim and flame oven/manual light. If you are pushing the pilot button, then need the long lighter to start. All ovens were manual up into a few years ago. My son informed him that the stove had a spark ignite switch. After clearly watching the operational video online for the camper, I can clearly see that was misinformed on the operation of the stove. For the oven, you typically need to the control knob in the pilot position while manually lighting the pilot with a lighter for the oven not the top of the stove.
Soon after these issues the new water heater tank went out, costing around $500 to replace the mother board for the tank. After going back and forth with Farhood Bait, the Service Manager of Campers Inn Davenport and Christopher Albert from Campers Inn RV of Richfield WI. Chris would tell me he was trying to resolve the issue, and Farhood told me that once they released the Camper to Chris, they weren’t responsible for water heater tank. In the meantime, my son had to go without hot water for a month. Now both parties have gone silent.
August 29, 2025, I received message from Chris that he hasn’t heard back from Davenport.
He pulled up everything Davenport fixed besides the camp-ready package and that they put close to $5k into the camper before, and after you purchased the unit. He informed me that I bought a service contract that should cover all these issues. I informed him that I paid over $1,000 for the inspection of the camper when I purchased the camper, I am being charged for a monthly fee for the service contract. I didn’t believe that is fair to me to need to file a claim on a camper that I just purchased that had a new water heater tank installed. I was informed by Christ that the extended warranty is good for any dealership that I choose to use. Maybe check with the RV park where the camper is to refer me somewhere.
That if I have someone that can tow the camper to one of these dealerships, all these issues can be fixed relatively fast.
The propane tanks still don’t work for water tank.
October 17, 2025, I requested the purchase receipt for the new water heater. I kept getting emailed the service record for the installation of the new water heater. On the service record the total amount for the replace and installation cost $1,727.87.
Spoke to service manager and they refused to stand behind their work. since there is no willingness to correct the situation, we are shopping elsewhere.
Although Chris did service the propane tanks, regulator and a/c the propane tanks still don’t work for the water heater tank. but they completely dropped the ball. We'll be shopping elsewhere when it's time to upgrade.
Service is terrible. From when we bought the RV it has spent most of the time with them discussing service for relatively minor and major things. Don’t believe the buy it from us, we will coordinate all service, that has been a nightmare. To be honest, this is my first experience purchasing camper, regretting the entire purchase at this point since.
We have been very unsatisfied with my purchase with Campers Inn RV of Davenport and Campers Inn RV of Richfield WI! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that anyone considering purchasing from CAMPERS INN RV of DAVENPORT or CAMPERS INN RV of RICHFIELD, DON’T!!!!!

Buyers Beware
We purchased an RV from Campers Inn RV – Tucker, GA and were told they would handle our Florida title, registration, and that we could not transfer our old plate. Because of that, we were charged for a brand-new tag.
After the sale, communication was terrible. We called multiple times over 30+ days with no updates and were repeatedly told someone would call us back — no one did. Our temp tag expired, and we still had no registration or plate. We eventually had to involve the Florida DMV just to get movement.
Once the registration finally arrived, the dealership suddenly claimed they could use our old plate after all — meaning we were charged for a new tag we never received. Now they are giving us the runaround on the refund they owe us.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had. Buyers deserve honesty, follow-through, and proper handling of fees — none of which we received here. I hope our experience helps others make an informed decision.

I purchased a used RV from Campers Inn…
I purchased a used RV from Campers Inn of Raynham after clearly stating that I would be living in the unit full-time and have serious mold and environmental sensitivities. I was given repeated verbal assurances that the RV had been fully inspected, was safe, clean, and in excellent condition. Upon delivery, however, it was immediately clear that this was not true. Several major systems were not functioning on day one, including a failed air conditioning unit, a leaking tank, and leaking water lines. More disturbingly, the RV showed unmistakable signs of a long-term rodent infestation — including droppings in cabinets and vents, gnawed materials, and structural cavities packed with spray foam, wire mesh, and scent packs clearly placed to cover up contamination.
These issues were never disclosed prior to sale. I later confirmed through a licensed exterminator that this was an extended infestation, and obtained a statement from the previous owner confirming the RV had no rodent problems when it was traded in — meaning the contamination occurred while the unit sat on Campers Inn’s lot for a year and a half. Despite this overwhelming evidence, the dealership made no genuine effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I was met with vague responses, dismissiveness, and eventually, complete silence. The General Manager Mark Person stopped responding entirely once I began asking direct questions and presenting documentation.
Rather than acknowledge their role, Campers Inn attempted to reframe the issue, downplay its severity, and hide behind an “as-is” sign-off sheet that — to make matters worse — listed the wrong make and model, raising serious questions about the paperwork’s legitimacy. What I experienced wasn’t just negligence — it was a systemic failure of ethics, responsibility, and transparency. This company sold me an unsafe, contaminated unit, concealed known defects, and walked away the moment they were confronted with the truth. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership — they are not honest, and they will not stand behind what they sell.
Oh and here are some photos of the contamination I found immediately after delivery, including active rodent infestation and the clear attempt to cover it up. This is what they knowingly sold and refused to take responsibility for. This REAL Review is for Campers Inn Raynham, MA.
