I would rate zero if I could. The whole thing was a nightmare more than 8 months and nothing to show for it. So many broken promises. The person dealing with my books changed about 6 times. I asked for my money back . They finally agreed they would pay in 4 instalments, but it has not eventuated and now they have stopped responding. $1300 USD . The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. CAUSED ME SO MUCH ANGUISH AND I HAVE NOTHING. JANUARY 26 2026 I received the first instalment of refund and NOW they are informing me that I have to remove this review for them to deal with the issue any further. This is Illegal. Now not returning emails again.

Thank you Cambridge book publisher for guiding me through publishing my first children’s book. My project manager, Elena, was helpful and was able to pick up on my wants and needs for my book . I was a little disappointed with surprise costs throughout my experience. I am somewhat satisfied with the final version of the paperback copy . Some of the animals in the picture ended up too small. All and all it was a good learning experience.

‘Complete satisfaction” would be a phrase I would use comfortably regarding my experience with Cambridge Book Publishers. Jenna West at the outset, then Steve Davis for most of the process, were patient, generous, supportive, encouraging, friendly and, once again, PATIENT with my inexperience in how this all worked! My book is massive (650 pages), technical - lots of theatrical and musical terminology - and based in “my voice” as its style is a series of extended performance coaching sessions and Steve in particular, became a partner in my approach. And for that I am deeply grateful. I have no hesitation in commending Cambridge to anyone with a book to “put out there”!!

I was looking for a publisher and found Cambridge on Facebook. I contacted several other publishers but felt Cambridge was a better fit and within my budget. Eleana Lopez, my project manager was great! I was wary of a scam but she put me at ease. Cambridge Book Publishers reissued my first book, The Family Shades of Light and Darkness and then published the 2nd book in the series Darkness Falls. I also worked with them on a third stand alone book Love and Murder Take Two. There have been a few bumps but with Elena's attention they have been smoothed. The website is still a bit of an issue but Elena assures me that it will be resolved ASAP. Elena and the staff have made me feel at ease and I am happy with the end product.

I am extremely pleased my book came out so well. The editor Ambrose, worked closely with me throughout the graphic design process, he is patient and understanding and the graphics captured to essence of the topics. My book is about overcoming trauma, a difficult topic, he and his editor Evan and their made this process easy to navigate. I was asked at every step of this process if I approved of their designs and editing. The design cover is amazingly beautiful. I am delighted at the quality, concern and dedication to detail I have received with my book.
