Cambly deducted ~2k dollars from my card without authorization. I'm shocked by the unscrupulous billing practices of Cambly. Unwanted Renewal: In early 2022, I tried canceling my Cambly subscription. Despite this, they charged me from May 2022 onwards, totaling ~$2,000. My last lesson was in April 2022, and I have never used any services from them since then. Misleading Design: Cambly's "pause" option seemed to imply halting payments. The "unsubscribe" option was difficult to find, especially problematic for non-native English speakers which are most Cambly users. No Notifications: I wasn't informed about subscription status changes. Email Overload: Frequent Cambly ads flooded my inbox, causing crucial payment emails to be categorized as spam. Poor Customer Service: Cambly lacks a direct phone line, making issue resolution cumbersome. You have to submit an online form and wait forever if you encounter trouble. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT CAMBLY THEY JUST REJECTED ANY RESPONSE. If you have a financial problem, they are unwilling to solve it but rather passive-aggressively lock your account. Payment Restrictions: Users can't remove payment methods, allowing Cambly to make unauthorized charges. Reputation Concerns: Numerous similar complaints exist online such as sikayetvar.com, the Apple App Store, and various social media sites. But Cambly never solves problems. Instead, Cambly buys positive reviews and advertisements, overshadowing genuine concerns. Thus, I believe the business practice and rules are unfair and deceptive to customers.

I love how I always have students when I work priority hours. I wish Cambly could better monitor the number of kids that I answer calls for. I typically do not feel prepared and I have not signed up to teach kids.

This company is a fraud the reason I believe it is. 1. The recruiting aspect of it is they did over a video chat.2. they have us do a profile and a short video after all the stuff is done we wait for very long time to just be rejected and here is information you need to they use the whats up app to communicate and people from united states are being rejected rapidly hands down even those we have experience. so my point is do not apply for a tutor job cause you wont get it.

Ho comprato il pacchetto annuale, e sul lungo periodo ho trovato l'esperienza sfiancante e molto poco flessibile. Il mio pacchetto comprende due lezioni a settimana ma queste vengono perse per sempre se per qualsiasi ragione non si arriva a svolgerle e non sono in alcun modo cumulabili durante l'anno. Ergo non compri un certo numero di lezioni, ma la possibilità di averne due a settimana per la durata dell'abbonamento. Questo mi ha purtroppo portato a perderne svariate. Oltre a questo l'abbonamento può essere messo in pausa con vincoli molto stringenti (per un numero massimo di giorni e mai per due volte di fila). In pratica ho perso decine di lezioni, e molte le ho fatte nei finesettimana, stanco e senza voglia, pur di non perderle, perchè a lavoro era un periodo intenso o ragioni simili. Quando infine mi sono deciso a cancellarle l'abbonamento, a due mesi dalla fine, scopro che non avrei avuto alcun rimborso perchè la differenza di prezzo che promettono di rimborsare in fase di acquisto si riferisce al prezzo non scontato....peccato che non abbia mai visto cambly in due anni senza sconti od offerte varie, cosa che mi fa un po' dubitare della buona fede di questa pratica. Non è un brutto servizio di per sè, ma è molto poco flessibile e non lo rinnoverò più. Dal lato tecnico ci sono alcuni insegnanti validi, ma funziona bene solo se prenoti le lezione con uno o due di fiducia, altrimenti è un terno al lotto. Peccato che prenotare si prestava poco alla mia esigenza di flessibilità, quindi alla fine ho collezionato una serie di insegnanti, alcuni bravi, altri meh.

They ask for sensitive data, including videos but never get back to you under the premise that they are too busy, yet they keep active searches for teachers. Be very careful as they seem to be collecting persinal data for whatever reason

Utilizzo cambly ormai da 2 anni e mi ritengo soddisfatto. Ho cominciato lo studio della lingua inglese in aula nella mia città, andava bene ma parlavo poco essendo in gruppi di 7/8 persone, cambly mi ha permesso nonostante facessi lezioni più brevi di parlare molto di più ed esercitare molto il parlato. Apprendimento top, la piattaforma però secondo me si potrebbe migliorare in alcuni punti, ma nulla di ingestibile.

Really great. Teachers help me. Now, I don't speak with euhhh euhhh euhhh in each sentences ! Better : I don't say euhhh now ;o) And more fluent, I can't speak with somebody outside, now. So better in my job. THANKS !

Too many sudden cancellations, almost half of the lessons. A bunch of lowly desciplined tutors.
