Calyx FlowersReviews of calyxflowers.com

I have ordered from Calyx Flowers many times over the years, usually as gifts for family and friends. I have now started treating myself, specifically to their gorgeous orchid bouquets. I placed an order to have flowers delivered for the upcoming weekend. Kap called to let me know that she did not feel the orchids would be pretty enough and, therefore, not acceptable to ship. As I really wanted them for a weekend gathering, I decided to cancel the order. She completely understood and issued a refund immediately. I can't say how much I appreciate her reaching out to let me know that the quality of the orchids was not up to their standards. The most beautiful flowers packaged with care and amazing customer service!!

What should have been a beautiful birthday surprise became a frustrating customer-service nightmare when the flowers never reached my recipient. Calyx failed to provide tracking as promised. After repeated calls and emails, they sent belated FedEx information and claimed the package had been signed for—but there was no signature, delivery photo, recipient name, or other proof. Fedex could not even identify who supposedly signed for it. Calyx's explanation then changed from "signed for," to possibly stolen, to left in a mailroom. They eventually promised a replacement, then withdrew it the following day, all while never returning my calls. No matter how many times we confirmed with Calyx and FedEx that the flowers were never received or found, they never seemed to take accountability for an unfulfilled delivery. My credit-card company had to resolve the matter. Calyx failed to deliver the order and failed to take responsibility. I will never order from them again.

I received 10 orchid stamps from Calyx Flowers as a sympathy gift ($119). The flowers on the bottom half of each stem were dead when delivered. I followed the directions completely. The orchids remained dead. I sent photos. Calyx responded “it is natural for cut orchids to have this natural downward-pointing look ..”. NO. The orchids were dead. The photos prove it Calyx sent orchids when it was hot and didn’t protect the orchids from the heat, then claimed the dead flowers were “graceful”. OUTRAGEOUS.

I have been ordering from Calyx for years (back from when they were named Calyx and Corolla) for holidays and birthdays and memorials and I always loved their bouquets and their services. The friends and family I sent arrangements to have loved them and I'd never had an issue. Until Mother's Day weekend 2026. I had an issue with the delivery, not Calyx, but their customer service has been unwilling to help me escalate the issue with the carrier or offer any sort of future discount. I never asked for a full refund, just some goodwill (a discount towards a future purchase) and assistance. Their stance is, " We have the filled our obligation 100%." (typo left in). I know the majority of us are feeling the weight of tough economic times and many businesses have thin margins, but their customer service is hugely disappointing and now I must dispute the charge and burn my bridge with this company. Makes me sad, but I guess I'm not the kind of customer they want anymore.

Does your mother love flowers? Would she like flowers for Mother's Day? Don't order from Calyx. You may get a sickly, ugly and disappointing arrangement (I did). Forget Calyx.

This used to be a fantastic company with amazing products. I can only speak to the terrible customer service at this time. Product never reached the recipient and the company has done nothing about it. Multiple phone calls where you can only leave a message and emails that go unanswered. Buyer beware. I have had to contact bank at this point for refund.

For my MIL's memorial service I ordered a springtime bouquet with an elegant decorative vase, what was delivered were dead wilted flowers that looked like they were picked from the garbage bin set inside a tin bucket. When I asked for a refund I'm told they can substitute anything they want if what I ordered isn't available. Clearly they don't stand behind their products anymore. My family and I have used this company for over 15 years but Never Again!

Christmas 2025 I ordered a Christmas bouquet to be sent to a family member. When they arrived It looked nothing like what they advertised on their website and the flowers were already brown around the edges and leaves were dropping off. When I contacted them, they told me to tear off the dead leaves, cut the bottoms and put it in freshwater which I had already done. When I responded back that I had they ignored me. I then called the phone number listed and left a message and they never returned my call. I found the owners email address and sent him two email with photos attached which he ignored. These were the worst flowers isnd the worst Customer Service for a luxury brand florist. Save your money.
