I used to love Calpak products but after my most recent purchase, I am NEVER buying from them again! I ordered 3 things from them and the package arrived opened, had 1 missing item, and 1 damaged item. The 17-inch Luka laptop backpack had marks on it so I requested a replacement only to be told AFTER I had already mailed back the backpack that the item was out of stock. Yet, the website is still showing the item as available. Customer service has been NO HELP AT ALL. They did not offer any credit back nor have they resolved the issue and it's been nearly 3 weeks. I have been a loyal customer but I am highly disappointed with how they handled this matter.

I recently received a present from friends for Christmas. It was a duplicate of something I already have. Cal pack to refund it stating, “it was out of the time frame.” This was purchased around Black Friday. Purchases made around this time are usually for gifts. This practice is atrocious. This the second item they have refused to refund/exchange. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a bag for a friend. Shortly after ordering it, I found out that someone else had also purchased the same bag for that person. Within an hour of ordering we tried to cancel the order. No one will answer their customer service line so I tried to cancel it online. I received a message stating that once an order has started it cannot be canceled. I called and left a message, and I emailed. After a couple of days someone finally responded by email to say that I could return the item once I received it. As soon as I received it I tried to return it using their online system. I received a message stating that the item was not eligible for return!! I emailed them again, and they finally sent a return label, stating that we would receive a full refund as soon as they received the item. After two weeks we finally received the refund - but they subtracted $12 for shipping. They did not disclose that we would have to pay shipping. I will never shop here again.

I bought a bag for a friedn, then found out someone else got her the very same thing, so I tried to return it. I followed their procedure and got a message saying "no refunds and no exchanges for this item". What? It didn't say that anywhere in the ordering process that it was a final sale. If they don't clearly call that out, they should return it. I left a voice message and sent an email. No response. Don't buy from them unless you definitely intend to keep the item. They're not trustworthy.

Terrible. My suitcase didn’t even survive its first trip. I contacted the warranty department and was told the broken wheel was. “Not in stock”. Bait and switch company who charges for warranty exchanges. Please do not spend your money on this garbage.

TLDR; Terrible quality, not worth the value and CS does not answer nor resolve. I made the mistake to buy the trunk bundle. On my first trip and use of it from US to Egypt the bag completely broke. I wrote CS and they asked me to make the claim with the airline… $400 USD out the door. I was out for 2 months traveling with a $400 broken bag and getting it wrapped in plastic for it to survive until I came back home. Never got a refund. The second bag, after 3 uses the handle came off… didn’t even bothered to write them.

Here is my history. I am a 70 yr old female, who retired at 65. I had worked for a billion dollar company in the Customer Service Department, entering orders for the Asian Group. Our reputation of excellent customer service was untouchable. We would do everything in our power to supply our customers with exceptional service, even driving in our personal cars, to deliver parts that were needed that day. NEVER in My life have I come to experience this pathetic excuse for customer service as I have with this luggage company. They actually have one girl answering the emails, concerns, emergencies. This girl truthfully told me their email system is set up to put the newest emails at the bottom and work on the oldest ones. Therefore, if a customer has a problem with their order, it takes 3-4 days or longer to receive an answer. If you have another question or comment from the prior email, it takes another 3-4 days for that email to get to the top for the one girl to answer. It’s so bad and antiquated that the pony express did a better job of riding their horses to deliver messages. My advice is DO NOT order from Calpak. There are loads of better luggage manufacturers who appreciate their customers not to mention having better merchandise

The luggage is cheap quality, damages easily & certainly can't handle long haul trips. My large hard sided suitcase didn't even handle its first long haul trip, with 2 corners collapsed & cracked. I've had to cover the cracks with heavy duty masking tape. I haven't bothered trying to get a refund or replacement - it's clear their company is utter crap & they sell awfully made products. Also note that the zippers are flimsy & that baggage handlers are able to place a pocket knife in the zipper blades to open the bag without detection, then when the knife is removed the blades snap back into each other so you are none the wiser!!
