Major issues with their company culture and QA
Update: After making this review, they emailed me to ask me to "reconsider it" since they did not like how it reflected on them - it was very important for them that potential clients don't read this. As proof to the culture I've mentioned below, they don't take feedback - they will do whatever it takes than admit their short fallings. But coming in with lies (e.g. the project was paused for 1-2 months, which I dare them to prove) is too low even for them, or at least I thought. I highly advise you avoid them at all cost, you don't want to work with people with such low work ethics. The company has good people and good developers working there. However, I would highly advice not to work with them on big projects. There's a clear culture of incompetence in their management and absolute lack of accountability. The company culture overall is more concerned with draining as much budget from you as possible, which is standard for most agencies - only that they don't reciprocate with good work. A lot of critical mistakes that caused chaos and losses to our company, rooted from mismanagement and obsolete QA.

We take all feedback seriously and view it as an opportunity to improve. That said, we believe some context is important. Throughout the project, our team remained committed — aligning to your time zone, providing extended support, and ensuring the app was functional post-launch. Many team members went above and beyond, often outside working hours, to meet expectations. The project did face a rough start due to misaligned expectations, especially around backend API dependencies that was told that ready from previous developer. Once identified, our management team restructured efforts to realign delivery with your vision. We’d like to gently highlight a few areas where we faced difficulties that affected overall momentum: > Inherited incomplete work from past developers > Initial false assurance that APIs were ready > A 1–2 month pause during project execution > Delayed payments despite following their policies > Unreasonable expectations on a T&M model under cost constraints Additionally, we resolved several architecture-level issues that were outside the original scope — verified through third-party providers — solely to maintain the relationship. We also offered extensive support during weekends and late nights to ensure the system launched smoothly across all stores, despite having no ground-level support or access to the actual POS systems. It’s also worth noting that while no inputs were provided during the UAT phase, a significant amount of feedback and issue reporting came in only during the final launch — feedback we had expected much earlier during the ideation phase. However, we are take the feedback in constructive manner and remain committed to improve customer experience and enhance our services.
