You are going to see a lot of negative reviews for this company mostly about people complaining about their business model. Do I want to pay up to 3000$ for my domain name? No, I would rather pay 8$ for a standard .com registration! Now domain names are a commodity and you need to spend money if someone owns something that you want. Many of the people that complain about the business model probably own the last smartphone and paid probably about 800$ for it. Do they really need it? Probably not, but they wanted it. It's the same for domain names. I wanted a name that buydomains owned, I paid for it! The transfer was extremely smooth and the support from buydomains was great! Nothing to complain about on the contrary! In any case, you may disagree about the price they will ask, you may be bothered by their business model but you can trust them : you will get what you paid for in less than 3 business days!

You'll see lot's of salty people here because their domains were snatched up - yeah it's rude but don't tell domain brokers what domain you want to buy because they'll buy it obviously. Their job is to resell domains. Anyway, I negotiated a purchase of a domain on behalf of my client. Make sure you haggle with these guys. I got nearly 50% off. Purchase was smooth and we even were able to pay via Paypal so that was much more reassuring. the transfer process went smooth too. Their user portal leaves much to be desired but we were moving the domain name anyway so it didn't matter. to summarize - yes these guys can be cheeky, it's how they make their money. Just be smarter than them and haggle the price down.
