It's been a month since I sent my item to them and I haven't received the money I was promised. They don't have a phone number so that you can directly contact them; instead they have a "chat" feature on their website that never works (no one is ever online to help you). I've been contacting them once a week for a month for an update and all they've been doing it avoiding my issue. Their customer service is complete garbage and their supervisor doesn't care about their customers. If you want to give away your item for free and receive absolutely no compensation for that, I highly recommend this site. Otherwise, stay the hell away. This whole company is a god damn scam.

There are lots of services like this: do not use buybackworld. They are slow. Customer service is terrible (email only, no phone number -- always a bad sign). it has been over 2 months since sending them a tablet. They kept delaying processing and then failed to meet a deadline they set for themselves. Even after contacting them multiple times, they have not resolved my issue and have not sent the agreed upon dollar amount for the tablet. I have now filed a complaint with the NYS Consumer Protection department. Just use another service. They are not worth the aggravation.

Same story as so many others here, 8 weeks since they took (stole) my Samsung Gear S3 and nothing but excuses. I files a fraud report with the USPS as they used the mail to swindle me out of my smart watch. Stay away from these guys - at best a horrible company and at worst a total scam.

I sent in a Samsung phone which according to their website would be worth about $10. They received it on September 3rd. I waited and waited to get a response back. On October 3rd, having heard nothing from them, I asked for a status. I received a generic email stating that they were upgrading their facilities and that I should expect a turnaround time of 20 days instead of 2 days. Note: 30 days had already passed. So we continue waiting. Finally, on November 14, I receive a reply stating that the phone had a cracked LCD (it did not when I sent it. It was only scratched) and that they were only offering 25 cents for it. I went back to their website to look up my phone. They no longer accept it. So bottom line, after waiting almost two and half months, they decide they no longer want the phone and are now claiming that it is more damaged then when I sent it in.

Claimed a default when the device worked as new. Basically bait and switch. Don't recommend.

This is the worst company to work for to sell your device. I sent my device on Sep 23rd but today is the Nov 2nd and no response from them. when ever I sent a message they were saying it is issue with our changing facility and now they started saying that we esclated the issue and finally messages they were not even replying. I am requesting them send back my device but not sure whether that also will happen.

Same story as all the rest. Sent the Samsung Gear S3 Classic in excellent condition on 9/11/18. They received it on 9/14/18. They sent me an email saying they were moving and I'd have to wait 10 to 15 business days for my watch to be inspected. It's now been 15 days and no payment. I doubt I'll get anything from this after reading the other reviews. It's becoming apparent that I've been ripped off. I plan to file a complaint with Ripoff Report on this one. I urge everybody else to do the same and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission to shut these scammers down.

I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. I am convinced I have been scammed - be warned! They have had THREE of my devices for almost THREE months and I have yet to receive payment. One item was accepted, one I got a revised offer and I accepted, and the third I have yet to hear anything about, and NO PAYMENT for even the first two items that they said would arrive in 2 business days has been received and that is a month ago. There is no phone number to contact them. They send you back a canned reply email, and when I tried to chat with them on their website they are conveniently "not online right now". DON'T SEND YOUR STUFF TO THEM IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN OR GET PAID! I swear I wish I had read reviews first, lots of people are saying how bad they are.
