Week 3 Wins! It's my birthday, so what better way to celebrate then to share my wins from these first 3 weeks! 🥳 Sharing my birthday month with @Erin Schlagbaum and Logan counts as a win in my book! 🤩 Clarity around where I'm living beyond my means and can trim to the tune of saving $2731 / month or $32,773 annualized. 🥰 Taking Tom up on the offer to ask questions directly to the coaches when I needed help thinking through some large purchase decisions in a smart and responsible way. His kind support made the best approach crystal clear. 😅 Getting caught up on weeks 2 and 3 this past weekend after falling behind after a busy few weeks. 💰 Consolidated 2 credit cards into a SoFi personal loan with 7.68% interest down from 22% and 29%. 💰 I opened my HYSA with a 4.65% interest rate. My daughter used my referral link to open hers, earning each of us another .5%. 💰 Took advantage of an incentive to open a checking account, that pays 1.25% interest, at a highly rated credit union which will earn me $475 once I set up my direct deposit. Again, my daughter used my referral link, earning each of us another $150 incentive (and she'll get the $475 too)! 💰 Sold $1000 item on Facebook Marketplace and more to follow. 💰 Closed $850K of business at work. 💡Enrolled in Budget Billing for both gas and electric and learned that I could opt in to have all of my household energy come from renewable sources which aligns with my values. I also learned that my municipal electric company provides free trees for folks who want to add shade to their yard to lower their electric bill. I rent, but wanted to share this tip in the hope that it may help people in our community. 😌 And the biggest win of all is feeling well held and supported by our stellar Budgetdog team and this community, providing so much hope, inspiration, and allowing me to release the anxiety from financial trauma.
