I had a great experience in purchasing with Buckeye Container Carriers from start to finish. they had several containers in stock to choose from and I was as able to visit their yard in Circleville, OH to inspect them before making a decision on one. the staff answered all my questions, the delivery was on time, and the container was placed exactly where I wanted it. the container was clean, in excellent condition, and matched the description perfectly. It’s nice working with a local company that actually owns their own inventory instead of ordering through a broker. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a container.

Roni was an absolute boss babe! After 2 men failed to deliver our container, she comes, has a great plan, runs with it and delivered! She was amazing, personable, confident, and very skilled in a more difficult delivery.

If there's a better container service out there, I sure haven't ever found it. I spoke with the owner - Ryan. He was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The service with these guys has always been top-notch! I'll never use another container service, buckeye is unrivaled in customer service, quality, and price!

I was originally quoted a price for a new one-trip shipping container, and based on that quote I decided to move forward. After I asked for the invoice, I was told the price was actually about $250 higher but ended up being $367 higher due to a miscommunication with the owner. I was given the option to pay the higher price for the container I had been quoted or accept an older container from a depot at the original price, which also couldn’t be promised to be delivered by the date I needed. It also would not have been the container I looked at and chose which they knew was important to me. I traveled an hour and a half with two toddlers just to make sure the container was exactly what I wanted it to be and they knew all of that. To me this is not how business should be done and it’s just not right . I understand mistakes happen, and they did apologize, but I was disappointed that the original quoted price wasn’t honored. This is the second time this has happened and they know this. I actually found a place that would do it cheaper and faster but I was going with them off loyalty and principle because I was doing what I said I was going to do. I have pictures of our agreement but I will not post them because the lady trying to help me was great she just did not have the power to change the price. It’s not right. UPDATE!! I was asked to call after I submitted my reviews and I had told them thanks anyways. I called and the person I was told to call had no clue who I was by name until I explained everything that happened. Then they told me how their business worked and why the price changed. I was told in the messages that Courtney had tried to speak to the owner all morning and he wasn’t honoring the price I was given twice, once at the yard, and once on messaging. I listened to what Amy had to say even though I disagreed and then I explained my side of things or tried to. As I was explaining I was told that they were going to try and meet me middle on the price until they got an email about me leaving a review on trust pilot. I said yes it’s my right to leave a review and our business or attempt at it was over and someone was whispering well not the greatest language and about me leaving a review in the background. I guess they thought I could not hear but either way that’s not how I expect to be treated. I did nothing wrong and all I expected was the price I was quoted two different times on two different days and have in writing. I should not be expected to spend over $350 more because of someone else’s mistake. I was told multiple times the price would be more than what I was told and they never offered to meet me anywhere. I don’t appreciate how I was treated and yes I was offered a military discount after I asked for one I never denied that but I was still lied to and nobody ever tried to work with me on anything. Even after my review I was not offered to be met in the middle I was told that they would have if I had not left a review. Update AGAIN: After another response to my review I feel inclined to clarify I was not yet a customer, so yes technicality, I apologize I just assumed a potential customer would be treated the same as a customer. And I tried to become a customer but was lied to. My integrity is being questioned now and I am basically being called a liar now. I did not post the screenshots of the messages, but I am willing to . I’m not sure why you are denying that you never said that when there are plenty of messages apologizing to me and admit the price had changed.The call was terminated by myself after I simply repeated what the employee was saying about me when they thought they were whispering it and I informed them that I could hear them say such and such. Then I hung up. I already bought another container from another business and spent more I can also prove that if needed. I spent more because of their exceptional customer service and they were just a few dollars more even though they were farther away by a good bit. They did exactly what they promised and actually on my invoice that was sent I corrected them because they got something wrong and they fixed it no questions asked. I was fine with dropping this, but I am not gonna have my integrity questioned. It is my right to leave a review and if a business is this upset about it and really wanted to make things right then they could’ve called me or even messaged me and offered that but I was never offered that I was disrespected and lied to. I would have even changed my review and explained that they made it right. Reviews exist for the customer and business both but It was $367! Why not make it right and do what was said. I am running out of characters but I have all my texts saved so if proof is needed and wanted I am happy to do so. Before saying I am lying I would reread the messages. Reviews exist to protect both sides and to give both sides a voice. Thank you Courtney for trying to help!
