Dear Robert, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, unfortunately, there are many reasons an item may go on backorder it may be an issue with the raw materials or the quality testing, we have a rigorous testing process in which we test for poisons, toxins, pathogens and more. We do not want to completely discontinue a product due to a delay in the product of the supplement. We do allow you to place items that are out of stock on backorder and they would ship as soon as the product becomes available. This feature is not available on our website because you would be charged right away and we do not want to charge you for an item until it ships.
