Good service grt communication

This company is a demolition mover! They work from a broker and are secondary subcontractors. Not at all professional. The movers and truck showed up late. They had to work until after midnight to load. Everything was expressed into the original truck with very poor loading procedures. Just two men who spoke very little English. Hardly anything was padded or protected. The truck was driven to Las Vegas where my household goods were put into storage freeing up their truck; I guess for more customers and suckers. When I requested delivery, they then had to contract a semi truck driver (again an independent) to attend the storage facility where their laborers then loaded my goods for transport to my new house. I received my goods with broken and chipped furniture, dented refrigerator, freezer, BBQ, etc. Boxes that were broken, frayed, and genuinely beat up. Not to mention the broken contents. Furthermore, don’t expect your goods on time as they are subs working with subs.

Bright Way moving is one of the most GOD AWFUL experiences I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Tied with MovingApt who set us up with them. Ronald, our delivery driver, was absolutely incredible. They sent that man from Nevada to Minnesota BY HIMSELF! Our truck was packed way too tight, our items were buried behind other customers’ scheduled deliveries, who was actually the last stop on his route. So he had to take that stuff off the truck first to get to our items. Sadly he was sent alone to unload an entire household after a cross-country move. I ended up helping Ronald carry everything into our apartment because there was simply no realistic way one person could handle that workload. Ronald was fully prepared to do the job himself but I could not let him do that all alone. What stood out to me was that, despite being put in an impossible position, Ronald never lost his professionalism. He was friendly, hardworking, and genuinely seemed to care about making the best of a bad situation. We bonded over both being from Maryland and sharing similar values. He even went above and beyond after the delivery by tracking down one of our missing boxes that had been buried underneath another customer’s shipment and personally bringing it back to us. That level of effort and ownership is rare, and honestly. Ronald is a 5 star guy working for a gutter trash company. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience with Bright Way was terrible. Our belongings took three weeks to arrive. What isn’t made clear upfront is that your items may sit in a public storage facility for an unknown amount of time during that process. In our case, our belongings sat for over two weeks. We know this because we placed AirTags in our boxes and watched them get moved out of storage, only to be placed right back into storage again multiple times without any explanation. The communication throughout the process was abysmal. We had one main point of contact, and while there were moments where communication was helpful, the overall experience lacked consistency. I was told I would receive updates or callbacks, but often had to follow up ourselves just to get basic information about where our belongings were and what was happening next. Text messages consistently left on read and calls out right going completely unanswered. When our belongings finally arrived, the condition they were in was infuriating. Heavy boxes had clearly been stacked on top of lighter, fragile items. We had picture frames damaged, glassware that had been carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and blankets somehow broken, a desk with significant chips, and damage to one of our dressers. Boxes that had clearly been burst open while in the storage unit that they'll refer to as "the warehouse" were terribly retaped or wrapped in plastic wrap showing that they had no level of care for our items at all! The frustrating part is that I ended up doing a significant amount of the physical work anyway, which makes it difficult to feel like we received the service we paid for. I didn't pay over $3000 to do half the labor of the move because you wanted to send someone solo cross country If you’re considering using Bright Way for any type of move, I would strongly recommend doing your research and considering other options. I wouldn't trust them to move a fork from the sink to the drawer at this point.

These guys were amazing!! I have moved more than once a year my entire life and they had this down. The layers in the truck were so seamlessly packed that I feel they used the space to its full advantage. Brian and Alex were extremely professional, friendly, and flexible throughout the whole process. They wrapped up all of my furniture, appliances, and glass safely and swiftly. The service they deliver is worth every penny. Book them.
