Just a bit about me: I'm living in Japan, from the US, and have used BrightTax for three or so years now. Here's a couple reasons why I rated my experience a 5. 1. Fast response time: I really appreciate the quick response to questions and updates. I realize some are automated but they are really helpful to know what is going on, and I appreciate the personal responses as well. 2. Ease of use: It's such a relief to be able to just open up the Client Organizer, input in the information, attach the documents, and leave it to BrightTax. I appreciate how I don't have to translate every document from Japanese, too. I left the U.S. when I was young and have little to no idea how to file US taxes, so it's been a lifesaver! 3. Easy to understand system and payment: The process is explained very clearly and both the Client Organizer and payment forms are a breeze to use -- simple and efficient. (I've never used a different service so I don't know how prices compare, but I just save part of my refund every year to pay for the next year's filing.) 4. Positive atmosphere and customer service: Their service lives up to the company's name of "Bright"!

Easy and reliable tax prep. I have used BrightTax for years now. Every year they deliver. Communication is easy, polite and informative. They answer questions in a timely manner. The client portal is easy to use and the tax and FBAR turn around times are efficient. You are kept informed every step of the way. I would recommend and will continue using them in the future.

I had searched for a couple years for a trusted company to help me with IRS returns (from Ireland) without success, then found Bright!Tax. I was a bit unsure, but - pleasantly surprised and then some. The two people I dealt with at the company were super clear, prompt in replying, and really understood my situation. The pricing was clear before I paid anything, the systems for uploading documentation was really well worked, and I had the opportunity to correct/clarify/edit everything before a return was submitted. Definitely using them again, and would highly recommend.
