I became intrigued in algo trading after reading several books on the subject. Over a period of months I scoured the internet looking for low-code python based software where I could automate my ideas. BE far exceeded those expectations! You get multiple broker API options, flexible Python strategies, ability to create your own, a library of proven strategies and their back testing is institutional grade data. Last but perhaps the best part is the support. Never have I used a software and the team has wanted you to succeed more! The Software and capabilities keep getting better and better. Once you get the hang of algo trading, you're likely to never go back. 10 stars

The software has been great for me. I started with a Pro plan where you can build your own strategies but with the marketplace addition I think I will be switching to that. Interactive Brokers and TD Ameritrade integration is what makes it unique.

Breaking Equity is an awesome idea that has only recently launched and is exactly what retail traders have been looking for. Now algo trading isn't only for hedgies and the support from these guys is outstanding. All of the bugs (expected with a new program) are ironed out extremely quick and the staff follows up on any issue and all ideas to make the platform better for everyone. I have already made decent money using the platform and do not miss out on big moves anymore and all emotions are taken out of the equation. Awesome work guys, looking forward to more gains!

When I started looking into algorithmic trading to standardize my trading, I began with a more programming heavy product. I downloaded it and started playing with it. Although I have a background in JAVA, the interface wasn't intuitive at all and after a couple days of barely being able to simulate anything, I began looking for another solution. I found Breaking Equity and loved the easy to understand interface. Creating an algorithm from my trading ideas and backtesting them against years of data was easy and very informative. With data going back to 2007, it was easy to refine my strategy for all market conditions to begin automated trading for real! I would reccommend Breaking Equity to anyone looking to move to algorithmic trading.

BreakingEquity has been great. The platform is easy to use for backtesting, paper trading, and live trading. There have been times where the algo's have had an unexpected error's. The BE support staff has been able to quickly and efficiency help correct or explain my error.

Starting using Breaking equity because I wanted to test some of my algorithms before I traded them live. Found their backtesting tool easy to use and was able to switch everything to my live account when I was satisfied that it was performing the way I had intended. The fact that it integrated directly into my broker is convenient and is something that I prefer because I don't have to move money between accounts in order to trade. Support team was also excellent and when I got caught during my initial setup they were very patient with me. I would highly recommend Breaking Equity to anyone who is currently looking for an Algo trading platform or was looking for a different way to manage their trades.

Great website, from the team that is always available to help, to the UI that is easy to use. There is sample algos that you can use if you are not familiar with coding. The backtest feature, paper & live trading features all work excellently. The Paper trading is almost identical in execution to the Live trading. Pricing is great. The team is also constantly adding new features and more brokers will be available soon.

The Team at Breaking Equity have been a dream to work with. They have a dedicated discord room and respond to my questions with intent and are super friendly and willing to figure out the ideas in my head. I have no programming experience but the Team is super happy to customize my macd formulas and build me a script so I can start leaning how to customize it. They really know how to take care of a customer and always leave the chat welcoming any more questions. I highly recommend Breaking Equity for learning how to build your own algo. For their willingness to help and really become a technical bridge to people with no programming experience this is exactly what I was looking for and got familiar with the product within one awesome chat from their Team.
