I hired Branophia because they…
I hired Branophia because they represented that my new website would generate leads and, more importantly, provided a written guarantee that I would receive a minimum of 20 qualified appointments within 120 days of the website launch. That guarantee was the primary reason I chose to move forward. Before the new website was launched, I used to receive occasional inquiries through my existing website. After the new website went live, those inquiries stopped completely. I waited more than four months, but I did not receive a single qualified appointment through the website. Whenever I asked about the missed guarantee, the discussion shifted to paid ads, my social media activity, and a separate cold email service. My social media activity was for a completely different financial services business and had nothing to do with my bookkeeping website. The cold email campaign was also a separate service. It generated two positive replies, but those conversations never progressed after I responded. Those two replies were repeatedly used to suggest I was getting leads, even though my concern was the website’s guaranteed performance. The newsletters that were included as part of my website package were also never delivered. The written agreement states that, upon full payment, I own the final website design. When I requested the refund because the written appointment guarantee had not been met, Branophia agreed to refund me. However, I was also told that the new website would be removed and my old website restored. I found that surprising because my refund request was based on the failure to deliver the guaranteed appointments, not because I wanted to return the completed website. My biggest disappointment wasn’t the money—it was the time. I trusted the written guarantee, waited over four months, and the promised results never materialized. I hope future clients carefully review the agreement, clearly understand what is and isn’t included, and ensure that any guarantees and refund terms are fully documented before signing. I am updating my review to reflect everything that has happened since my original post. I hired this company to build a new website for my bookkeeping business after being assured it would improve my online presence and help generate more inquiries. I paid $1,800 upfront for the website, along with additional monthly fees for related services. After more than four months, I was very disappointed with the outcome. The newsletter functionality was never completed as agreed, and despite the promises made, I did not receive any new inquiries after the website went live. I also became concerned that my previous website’s Google visibility had been negatively affected. When I raised these concerns, I requested a refund for the unfulfilled website guarantee and incomplete services. I also made it clear that if a refund was issued, I wanted the website removed and our business relationship ended. Instead of resolving the issue, I was asked to remove my Trustpilot review before the guarantee would be honored. I explained that I was willing to update or remove my review once the agreed resolution had actually been completed. Unfortunately, no refund has been provided, and the matter remains unresolved. I have since taken full control of my domain, hosting, and website access so that I am no longer dependent on this provider. My recommendation to anyone considering this company is to make sure every deliverable, guarantee, ownership right, refund policy, and ongoing support commitment is clearly documented before making payment. I genuinely hoped we could resolve this professionally, but unfortunately that has not been my experience.
