I loved the grading/ranking system for the flash cards but I would have liked the option to do a "test mode" for all decks once I was more confident and was getting ready to take the exam I was preparing for. I loved being able to upload the information and was sorted pretty accurately.

Hi Erica! We’re really glad you enjoyed the confidence rating, as well as the ease of uploading and organizing your study materials. We’re actually working on an upcoming Quiz feature that will let you generate quizzes from your decks, so it may be exactly what you’re looking for. Keep an eye out for it! Thanks again for your feedback! Chuckee@Brainscape

Easy to use and very useful
Brainscape is a really useful way to make flash cards and it’s really easy to use and they also have pre made flash cards ( although some you need to have premium for ) . And for websites like PMT you can download the flash cards straight to Brainscape. Useful system where you can rate how well you know the flashcards and if you don’t know them as well then they come up more often. Really good and is helping me with lots of my subjects.

What would give Brainscape a 5
What would give Brainscape a 5? The ability to see words in Spanish and then translate to English. I think this is very important as I don’t want to always be translating. I have had no issues with this app.Thank you.
Response from Brainscape - Smarter FlashcardsJun 6, 2026
Actually you CAN reverse the flashcards and see the "Answer" (i.e. Spanish) first. Just click/tap the Study Options menu in the top-right of the study screen. Hope that helps! Thanks for your review and advocacy either way 🙏

I love brainscape and used it at both school and now at uni. Only thing is I would love there not to be an AI limit as I don’t have brainscape pro

Hey Annabelle! Thanks so much the love! We're glad Brainscape has been helping you throughout school and university. You're right that AI features are limited on free accounts, although the free allowance is fairly generous for most learners. If you'd like access to more AI-powered features and other premium benefits in the future, feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected]—we may be able to help with a discount. =) Good luck with your studies! a smart way to learn
Brainscape is really a smart way to learn as in my case new English words. However the app is a bit slow in reacting.
