Poor Sound Quality
A group of us visited Bradford Live last week, looking forward to enjoying the show. Unfortunately, we were all disappointed by the poor sound quality, which significantly affected our overall experience.
Some members of our group wear hearing aids and struggled to hear much of the performance. However, this was not just an issue for those with hearing difficulties, as the rest of our group also found the sound quality poor and struggled to hear clearly.
We appreciate that sound quality can be challenging in a large venue, but we would have expected a much better experience at Bradford Live. It was particularly disappointing that so much of the show was difficult to hear, which detracted from our enjoyment of the evening.
We feel this issue needs to be addressed, as everyone who attends should be able to hear and enjoy the performance, regardless of whether they have hearing difficulties.
We hope Bradford Live takes this feedback seriously and investigates the sound system to ensure future audiences have a better experience.

Visit here at your peril
This place is hands down, the worst music venue we've ever been to. We went last week to see Jimmy Carr and this place is a Brixton Academy disaster waiting to happen.
First off, we ended up missing half an hour of the show because of how awful the queuing system is, how inept and useless the bar staff were and the complete lack of information posted. It took us an hour to get drinks, an HOUR. There were several queues for the bar area, none of them had any kind of system or staffing in place, people were pushing in, panicking at missing the show, arguing with each other over how the line just meshed together at one point, meaning several people were claiming to be 'here first' There was a women who kept running from one line to the other trying to push in and was causing all sorts of trouble and she wasn't pulled up on it once.
The staff were so poorly trained that it was taking them 4 and 5 minutes to serve ONE customer, they couldn't find the drinks prices on the tills, were falling over themselves to find certain drinks, they kept running out of everything and had to turn off the pumps making it even slower. It was a shambles, there were at least a dozen people we spoke to either in the queue or at the venue that said they'd never go there again because of how bad it was. One poor guy queued at the back of us for an hour to get drinks and when he got there, he was told, sorry, we don't accept cash, it's a cashless only venue, despite there being no visible signs anywhere to state this. He literally queued with his partner for an hour for nothing because he only had cash.
The prices are horrendous, you pay less at established venues like the O2 arena. The toilets are all downstairs and that's a complete free for all, it was packed, people walking into each other, falling over one another to find where they were meant to go, the toilets stank to high heaven and had liquid all over the floors, absolutely vile.
Upon leaving, they had the same inept bar staff trying to herd us all through one door and shouting for people not to go through other doors where the next set of customers were queueing but this made little difference as no one was listening to them. At one point a member of the bar staff ended up chasing people out of doors they weren't meant to use to usher them back in to leave through the correct doors. It was a shambles.
There were a couple of security men outside checking the occasional bag but inside, we never saw any. Imagine if something really kicked off in there, there'd be almost zero protection for anyone.
This place is horrendous, somebody is going to end up getting severely hurt here or worse. It's the most inept, poorly run and amateurish venue we've ever been to and we certainly won't be going back.
Don't get me wrong, I used to go here all the time when it was the Odean cinema and what they've done inside is really nice, it's been completely transformed but it's so badly run and offers little to no protection to customers that it has no business operating, something bad is going to happen here unless they change things drastically.

OMD best band I've seen live, great venue!
Just watched OMD at Bradford Live and was totally gobsmacked! Amazing venue, friendly helpful staff, plenty of toilets, lots of bar staff.
Totally awesome, if they were on tomorrow night we'd be coming back! THANKYOU

Security awful
Went to see DeanZ. At Bradford Live,
If it was not for the fact that I have some more shows booked with my daughter, I will not be going again, it was not the show Dean Z was brilliant, it was the security guards that followed me in because I had a can of pop walking in front of me pushing me, I have osteoarthritis in both legs and very unsteady, he kept coming in front of me pushing me, I have a walking stick, it made me feel very sick and anxious.
So from now on will stick to St Georges Hall and Alhambra were I get the service I need.

Food quality awful for the cost
Food quality awful for the cost. £9.80 for 6 southern fried chicken strips, get better quality southern frid chicken strips in Iceland.
Sound quality terrible, got bad feedback when Skeletal Family played, and could hardly hear the lyrics.
Staff need training to give appropriate discounts - I paid £45 to become a priority live member which they clearly advertise in the venue saying one of the benefits was 20% discount on food and drink. When I ordered the food I showed my bradford live digital pass, she acknowledged it but still charged full price.

Venue and decorations beautiful
The venue and the Christmas decorations for the Dukebox Christmas event was beautiful. We had an amazing time and the food was lovely too. It's makes a nice change to go out in Bradford to venue that feels and looks sophisticated. Also, the ticket prices were very reasonable for the venue, the food and the experience.

Issues make this a very average venue…
Far too bright in all the bar areas and corridors. Feels like you are in an office. But more importantly they REALLY need to sort the sound out. It's shockingly bad making lyrics inaudible and music messy. Add to that O2 size bar prices and no cloakroom in December and you have a distinctly average venue that should be great. Trafalgers lack of experience of running a music venue of this size and absolute lack of understanding of economics in the North are on show throughout.

It’s a glorified pub
It’s a glorified pub. Drinkers walking up and down fetching pints of ale all through the performance of Yorkshire Calling disturbing people who actually came to see the show. An insult to the artistes. The bar should be closed until the interval. By the way, for all the blurb about fine dining and grab and go (whatever that rubbish talk means) you can’t even buy a cup of tea at this so-called world class venue.
