My orthopedist’s office recommended I get the ortho Medigrip device for arthritis in my thumb joint. The device seems sturdy and well constructed. The delivery was quick and the customer service and communication was excellent. The reason I am giving it only 3 stars—- It doesn’t provide any relief for me. My pain is the same when I am wearing it or when I am not. So, it was very disappointing. Especially since it costs basically $100.

I used the brace at night while sleeping. The brace left a large blister between my thumb and pointer finger. It did help with tendonitis pain, but I can't wear it now due to the blister.

I bought the brace on the recommendation of my doctor. I does do the job of stabilizing my thumb but I find it uncomfortable and after a while of wearing it, it hurts.
