The braces I got were outstanding! They did exactly what they were supposed to do - keep the thumb joint in place & still be able to write, cut, & anything else. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the sturdy materials they are made with to allow me to bend my thumb & 1st finger caused the rest of my hand to hurt. Therefore, I could not write, etc. with them on. I’m sure for most people this wouldn’t be a problem. These were recommended by my hand specialist in physical therapy.

Brace helps with my thumb pain. Easy to fit, arrived promptly. It does get sweaty under it on a hot day. Ventilation holes would be helpful.

So far really like them. Fits good and good compression. Just wish didn't cost so much money. Live from pay check to pay check.
