I like the brace, it protects the joint and distributes the weight (or force) across a broader area of the hand which reduces pain during certain activities. I didn't get the feeling it was returnable - I'm right between two sizes and wonder if I should have selected the next size up.

I just bought my second one. The velcro on the first one isn't holding as well anymore. It has lasted several months and if you don't take it off frequently while wearing it, it lasts longer. I could not function at work without it. I use my hands all day. They seem uncomfortable at first, but they are like a new pair of shoes. Have to break them in.

Love the brace however, the thumb joint is a bit too wide for small hands. Also it pinches downward when carrying objects in hand causing bruising.

Thank your for your feedback Linda! I would recommend adding a soft barrier between your skin and the brace to potentially help with your issue! Let us know if the problem persists because you may have the wrong size!

These braces are so supportive and have greatly helped me with the arthritis in my thumb joints. They are lifesavers! The Velcro wears out quickly when I wear them daily so that is my only complaint. I wish there was a way to replace the Velcro easily. I use a small rubber band to help hold the straps down when it wears out, otherwise I would have to replace them every other month.

On checkout, customers should be informed that shipping charges have been waived. Or a line should be added for those customers who pay the $89.99 (including shipping). I had to go back & press the button that showed a shipping charge even though the charge was waived on checkout. I was confused, but I figured it out.
