I was a bit hesitant because of the expense. I ordered one brace and wore it for several days. It felt great! My the worst of my pain disappeared. I ordered one for my other hand without hesitation! I am able to wear the brace while doing most of my activities. They are very effective in giving proper support and reducing pain. I highly recommend them for others with basal joint arthritic pain!

I have psoriatic arthritis in both hands and my joints are quite painful. My rheumatologist referred me to a hand therapist for the pain in my left thumb and wrist. She recommended the thumb brace. It arrived quickly and has been a real help, especially when I am using the hand to hold anything. It is slightly uncomfortable to wear but definitely helps with the pain.

Movement or rotation of the wrist is one of the elements of stroking a pool cue that causes inaccuracy in your pool shots. Also the strap on this brace around your thumb keeps your cue grip firm. And not so loose it causes your cue tip to move as you stroke with your cue. I highly recommend this brace to clean up your pool cue stroke. A good pool glove on your bridge hand prevents undesired movement there as well. Both additions have improved my pool game immensely.
