This was to be my backup … it fits better (my fault) than my first, so it will be my main brace. Turns out that I am one of the newly realized/discovered/medically noted people allergic to corticosteroid (cortisone) shots: the cortisone interrupts the signals from the brain to the diaphragm causing severe hiccups that can stop breathing. It took nine days for the cortisone shot to wear off enough to stop the interruption … 9 days of hiccups, no sleep and near chocking. So, now I have a choice: hiccup into the emergency room for a $4000 visit, or a bracelab brace. Thank you for giving me a choice.

Purchased the Push MetaGrip thumb brace on the recommendation of an orthopedic hand surgeon am glad I did. It is more comfortable and not as confining as my older brace. Received my brace within days of ordering.
