I have problems with my thumbs and these have allowed me to put off surgery. My thumbs are just bone on bone and these allow me some function with my thumbs with less pain. This is the 2nd pair I have bought. Very durable and once you shape them to conform to your hands they are not cumbersome. I even lined the inside of the thumb area with the soft side of Velcro to allow me to play golf without getting a blister. My first purchase was 3 years ago and this is my second set purchased.
