The brace works well to support the thumb joint, but the hard molded plastic means that it pinches skin when doing tasks. Some soft padding between the plastic and skin would help alleviate this.

While the shopping experience was good . , I am having trouble with the fit of the brace . It digs into my hand above the joint and is uncomfortable and I end up taking it off . Also $100 is pretty pricy - not everyone can afford that .

3.5 stars: The brace works pretty well if I position it juuuust right. So I love that part. The manufacturing quality isn’t great. It comes unlatched easily and I can see points of contact breaking down and falling apart in a few months (I hope I’m wrong about this… but I doubt it). So, it works, but in a finicky way, and the price point is (probably) too high for many consumers to buy multiple each year, which they will have to do because it will fall apart.
