I have arthritis in both thumbs. They made me a brace at occupational therapy, yours is much better. I am doing physical therapy as well. I had no problem paying for the braces. Unfortunately many people might. These should be covered by insurance

Fast delivery of excellent CMC brace. My first one lasted 4 years. The straps were getting frayed, although still working fine. I wear this so I can play guitar with painful CMC arthritis. Doesn't inhibit fretting at all.

Other soft braces provide modest support from a compression standpoint, but simply don't hold up under regular wear and tear. And hard braces offer relief but immobilize your thumb. I've had my first Push Brace for over two years and the velcro straps hold up just fine. I just purchased a "spare" just in case.
