This push brace has made a huge difference to my thumb, suffering from a wrong attempt to put an IV in me near my thumb for surgery that has caused severe artthritis as a result. While I think this brace is rather ingeneous, I get pinched in a few surrounding areas -- consequently a 4 star instead of a 5 star review. The way to remove this pinching is to put a small piece of tape in the area(s) affected. It would be good to see BraceLab address this issue!!

Ordering online was fairly easy, although you are warned to "review your purchase before finalizing, as the purchase is non-changeable" Having said that, there is no way to actually check your order before sending, as the website just lists "product" with no specifics. I had missed that the default setting was Left so inadvertently ordered the wrong product and had to call and email them, have them cancel the order, then go online and order the correct one.

I liked it alot, although I bought a small and maybe should have gotten a medium. I broke my ulna tip and have wrist pain. I felt more supported in your brace than in the medical brace I got from the ER. Sadly I work in a school and my brace was stolen on day 1. Oh well, teens can be strange. I will order a new one after my next doctors visit.

It works great however expensive. I also bought a cheaper one on Amazon for $33 which is $66 cheaper than yours. It's actually a little more comfortable and just as supportive. I probably won't buy another from BraceLab though.

Your thumb brace was recommended by a medical professional, so I tried one for my left thumb & was impressed by the relief it gave me. So, I purchased one for my right thumb. I don't wear it all of the time, but when my thumb(s) began to bother me (pain wise) I put them on & wear them for awhile & feel the relief. I'm not sure I'm wearing them correctly, in terms of time, but the work for me.

The brace is helping some but I find the straps across the back of my hand uncomfortable. Softer, more rounded, maybe a little padded would be nice.

The CMC brace is comfortable for most activities and provides great support for my right thumb and wrist. I bought it to hopefully use it while playing golf but the rigid support is too hard and presses uncomfortably against my left thumb during the golf swing. While I can’t use it for golf I find it very helpful for normal daily activities like yard work and household chores. If it worked for golf I would give it five stars
