Don’t buy it If you are from India (Mumbai)
If you're planning to order from India, I strongly advise against it. I ordered an Aqeeq ring for ₹11,000, and the shipment got stuck at Indian customs. Since it falls under the "semi-precious stone" category, it attracted heavy import taxes. On top of that, clearance can't be done personally—you must appoint an agent who charges around ₹7,000, not including the tax. In the end, the total extra cost is almost equal to the price of the ring itself, making it completely unworthy of the purchase. What’s more disappointing is the response from Boutique Ottoman. They take no responsibility for the customs situation, refuse to recall the package, and do not offer any refund. They were unhelpful and unresponsive when I reached out. I lost ₹11,000 for nothing. Be careful before ordering if you're in India. My date of experience is 6 April, 2022, I couldn’t write the review but same happened to one of friend, so m sharing that no one should be in this situation

Dear Afreen, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced with Indian customs. Unfortunately, customs duties, clearance costs, and local regulations are beyond our control and vary by country. As clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions , which must be accepted at checkout before completing any purchase, all international buyers are responsible for their local import duties, taxes, and clearance procedures. We always aim to provide transparency regarding this process and regret that your experience was affected by local customs regulations. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will continue improving the way we communicate such requirements to our customers. Warm regards, Boutique Ottoman Team
