I'm very disappointed with this product. I feel no appreciable oxygen boost when using this product. I feel dupped!
Response from Boost OxygenMay 25, 2022
We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the product Jerome. Most of our customers use the product to combat altitude sickness, recover from aerobic performance and to help with shortness of breath. If you have a healthy oxygen saturation, you may not notice that great of an effect from using the product. We hope that you find this information helpful.

We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the product. Boost Oxygen works best to help with altitude sickness, aerobic performance recovery and general health/wellness. People who are resting and already have healthly oxygen levels may not experience much of a difference. This is due to the fact that their body is not in need of more oxygen. We hope that you find this information helpful.

Extremely Expensive
Boost is extremely expensive. It says it is good for 200 inhalants but there is absolutely no way a human could get 200 hundred regular breaths from this. And if you are taking deep breaths, you would be lucky to get 20 per large container. That would make the cost of one deep breath close to $1.00 each. Even a regular breath has to cost about $0.50 each.
Then on top of the cost, the effectiveness is very questionable. I used this after mild exertion and will tired (yawning). There wasn’t any noticeable effect in any circumstance - other than a sore throat when taking deep breaths while using it.
While this might help at very high altitude, otherwise it is a complete waste of money. Just take a few deep breaths from the air around you and you will get much better results than by using this expensive waste of money.

Hello Frank,
We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the product. It seems that we have not met your expectations. We do spend a great deal of capital on quality control to put out the best product possible. Our products are manufactured here in the US at our headquarters and another facility in Baltimore. We are always humbled to hear about the positive experiences our customers have with the product.
Our large cans state that it contains roughly 200 one second inhalations in the can. The average inhalation lasts for only one second. When the trigger is held down, oxygen will disperse out of the can for approximately 200 seconds. That is how we measure the capacity of our canisters. If you're taking deep breaths that last for more than one second, you will not get 200 "uses" out of the can. It would be difficult to measure how many “uses” a person will get out of a can. It would be like measuring how many ‘gulps’ or ‘sips’ there are in a 16 oz water bottle. Everyone would have different results, and to educate our consumer we found the one second inhalation metric to be the most informative. But we’re always open to suggestions to improve our messaging, so if you have a better way to communicate the usage, we’d really welcome it.
The effects of our products will vary depending on what the consumer is using it for. Some of the top uses for our products are combating altitude sickness, aerobic performance recovery and general health/wellness. If a person does not have low oxygen levels for instance or is not winded, supplemental oxygen doesn’t have much use. (although it has been shown to enable people to hold their breath much longer, and help with memory and focus…) Oxygen can simply help, and we make it available to people with no prescription necessary. Our motto is Help is Here.
It does seem as though you understand that our products can be helpful to people in higher altitudes, so we don’t understand why you’d call us an expensive waste of money. We are very proud of the product we manufacture and even more inspired and motivated by the great reviews we receive and the lives we touch. So it perplexes us when we receive a review such as yours, and we always question the source. If you feel as though there may have been something wrong with your can, or if we can further educate you as to our mission and the benefits of limited quantity supplemental oxygen, you are more than welcome to reach out to us directly. Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority.

(5 percent pure Industrial Oxygen
How can you say that the other gases in the air are useless? We need the certain mix of AIR to breath! Breathing non medical grade oxygen is dangerous, it is unregulated and you DO NOT know what is put in the gas that you are breathing from that can. There is a reason you have to have a PERSCRIPTION to breath oxygen! It's medical grade because it is entering the body and isn't filtered or has the FDA mandates like industrial oxygen. Which this is if it isn't Medical grade. They dont have the same stringent regulations on industrial oxygen that medical grade oxygen has! Read their declaimers on their web cite!

this product sucks
Not even close to oxygen you'd get at one of those oxygen bars; complete ripoff.
Response from Boost OxygenDec 6, 2021
Hello Nathan,
All of our products contain 95% pure aviators breathing oxygen. The purpose of our product is to provide oxygen in a portable, lightweight form factor for anyone who would want the benefits of supplemental oxygen. Oxygen bars work a bit different than our products and provide a continous flow of oxygen over a specific period of time. Our products are not designed to replicate that. Boost is geared more towards helping with altitude sickness, shortness of breath, aerobic performance, recovery and general health and wellness. We hope that you find this information helpful. Thank you.
