Oxygen is a gas and has very little weight so you're not going to feel anything from shaking the can around. All of our products are lightweight because of this. We are not sure when you tried to call but we are closed on the weekends and we were closed this past Monday due to the holiday. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. We have never stated or suggested that the product should be used in that way. It sounds like the can that you purchased was faulty and we do apologize for that inconveince. We do test the oxygen purity of our products. We send a batch of canisters out to the Atlantic Analytical Laboratory to periodically test the oxygen purity. Hi- So sorry to hear about your grandpa. Our oxygen canisters are not designed or approved to be a life saving device, nor is the oxygen gas itself. Extra oxygen can be very helpful to many for a wide range of purposes, but in our canister or in other delivery methods, it's not a cure-all, and we always recommend you speak with your medical professional. We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the product. Most of our customers will use the product when they are experiencing shortness of breath, fatigue, etc. They will usually take three to five inhalations at a time to help them recover. If your oxygen levels are normal, you may not experience that great of an effect due to your body not being in need of additional oxygen. We hope that you find this information helpful.
