Although my ordering experience was perfect my dog has only had this tag on since the day I received it, which was only about three or four weeks ago and the O-ring that you sent me completely opened up and her tag fell off so now she has nothing again. I definitely would never want this apparently weak o ring to attach the tag... had my dog gotten out of the yard obviously the tag would’ve broke off very easily and she would never of been found because she has no tag Very disappointed with my purchase. Love the tag... the weak o ring is the problem... I have had another tag for 7 years on my other dog, with S hook to attach the tag...No problem no I am without no tag and no O ring or an S hook...And no ID for my dog I just want to add that I am extremely happy with my tag....Boomerang ID tag were awesome they sent out a tag immediately and I had a new one within a few days to put it on my Miley, so not to worry that I would loose her ....This company and tag rock!!! thank you so much boomerang ID you Rock!!

Bottom line first: A tag for MILEY will be made and mailed to you today [08/30/18] and a hook will be sent for attaching the tag. I will also include a ring and request that you experiment with just how much force is require to make it fail, they are not flimsy. I have been providing these same rings for over 30 years and rarely get a report of one failing. When they do the reason is almost always that someone who took the dog for a walk—often this is a younger person—attached the lead to the tag ring. The rings we provide are for attaching tags and they are adequate for that purpose, they will not stand up to the forces of a dog tugging on a lead. They can also fail if the tag gets caught in something, a chain link fence for example, if they fail in this situation—that's a good thing—consider the possible scenario if the ring did not fail... Lastly, this post on Trustpilot is the first I heard of your issue, if you had emailed me about it I would have taken care of it previously.
