ID vs collar
Service and product is great. The problem is we have a collar that has a clasp and we have to cut through the collar openings to put ID on his collar.

Hi Gloria! We have a CollarTag style for adjustable length collars (collars that close with a clasp). They come with a slot in them, the only problem is that you ordered the slide-on style CollarTag. On the slide-on order page we advise the shopper that the style is not correct for collars that close with a clasp – and offer a link to the page we do offer the style on.

I love the tags and I have ordered many of them over the years. My only issue is the website, it's not the easiest to navigate and order from.

Love love love your tags they do last…
Love love love your tags they do last the life time of the pet. I buy a few for each greyhound i have to match collars. I would love to see Pink and Purple offered for female animals. I hope one day you could add those colors. I tell everyone in the greyhound community to buy your tags because they are so durable.

We love these tags! We have moved a couple times over the last 5 years so we have bought tags through Boomerang before! My only request is that pink be added to the color options. That is the only reason for the 4/5 star rating. Thx!

This fits nicely on my dog's 1" inch…
This fits nicely on my dog's 1" inch large adjustable plastic clasp collar. No friction because the cloth portion of the adjustable collar overlaps so the open-ended fingers of the tag fit in perfectly in between the overlap of cloth. It doesn't rub against my dog at all. The lettering is big and clear enough for all to see.

Love the large dog tags
Love the large dog tags. I can get all our info as well as our Vet’s info with both sides printed. I went through a bunch of websites and your tags fit my needs better then any other site. Thank you Boomerang!!!!!

I love these pet tags that attach to…
I love these pet tags that attach to the adjustable collar. The purchase was seamless and the price was fair. However...I bought the stainless steel tag and it turned my dog's white fur gray. I purchased these tags before and the staining stopped after awhile but it is a nuisance.

Good Morning Carole: Our CollarTags are made of STAINLESS Steel. The metal does not stain anything, which is why they call it "stainless." We do color fill the letters in these tags and the dye we use to do so could be the culprit. It can be removed with dish soap, hot water, and a tooth brush, and the text on the tag will still be easy to read without it. That said, most of the time what stains pet fur is aluminum tags, almost all license and rabies tags these days are made of aluminum and aluminum will stain the coats of light colored fur. Boomerang Tags does not make any of the tags we offer out of aluminum. Aluminum is good for beer and soda cans but it is a junk metal for pet tags.
