Disappointment with Mismanagement of…
Disappointment with Mismanagement of this company On July 20, 2026, I paid Bookscribe Publishing $355 for 10 printed copies of my PDF manuscript. My original contact was Michael Stuart, and the project was later transferred to Lisa Wilson. Then Lisa transferred to Hamdan Pirzada. They kept promising that the books will be mailed to me soon. Surprisingly, On Sept 1st, I received a message from Lisa Wilson indicating that Michael in under review and no longer managing this project. She apologized for the delay. But another surprise was on November 1st when I received a message from Hamdan indicationg that Lisa is no longer working on this project and she/he will work hard to send me the books. But another surprise was that she/he wrote that I need to pay $1200 because the company is in financial crisis. I left several messages on their phone number (703-586-1951) but I didn't receive any response. As of the date of this review, I have not received the 10 printed copies I paid for. I am seeking a resolution and a refund of my payment. I am sharing my experience so that prospective customers can make an informed decision before purchasing publishing services. I believe the company's website is a good example of false advertisement. Heibatollah Baghi, PhD Emeritus Professor of Statistics
