It's been a great experience so far. I've received some thoughtful, honest reviews and had the opportunity to read some books I wouldn't have chosen otherwise. The customer service is excellent. Friendly, fast and efficient. I would give it five stars apart from the fact that most of the members seem to use KU, meaning if your book is on kindle unlimited, you'll get mostly KU reviews, not verified ones. But overall, it's a very good review site.

This is a great service for getting reviews and recognition for my books, and it's also made me a fan of authors I'd never heard of until I joined BookRoar!

Great platform for honest reviews.

I have had good success with BookRoar. The few glitches I’ve experienced have been minor and were usually caused by reviewers not following the simple instructions for posting reviews. The other issue I’ve noticed isn’t BookRoar’s fault, but there is a limited number of mystery books available. A couple of times, I felt the reviewers weren’t really interested in the mystery genre and may have only skimmed my book just to leave a review. Also there is a strong listing of fantasy books. I'm not all that interested in fantasy, again not BookRoar's fault but a bigger catalogue would improve things.

Thank you so much for your kind review, Thomas. We greatly appreciate it. We hope the recent improvements to the site have meant there are fewer instances where mistakes have been made, and we will continue to explore ways to improve BookRoar. We also have some work to do in recruiting a wider range of authors :)
