BooknalityReviews of booknality.com

A clear scam. I received an email from one of their representatives. The email was offering a $600 flat fee for publishing. Firstly, this can be done for free and none of what they are offering is worth $600. Secondly, their website has filler on it, it has fake Trustpilot reviews (Trustpilot, I hope you check this) and they originate out of Pakistan, not the US.

You may have come across this fraudulent business via an AI generated ad on instagram. People running this particular kind of scam tend to lie about a few specific things; They will often tell you they are talking to you from America, but their IP address always points back to Pakistan. They will tell you they have a stable of artists they assign to your project, but never name or credit them. This particular business repeatedly claimed they illustrated a book for Dav Pilkey, a writer who has been famously doing his own art for his books since at least the 90s and who has been published by Scholastic for just as long. They will claim to not use AI at all whatsoever, despite the obvious examples of it in their ads, posts, and even the work they've produced for previous clients. The fact is everything these people produce and have produced is AI generated, traced, or both. Yes even with those testimonials they share. Those clients were almost definitely lied to as well. With the money they bilk from their marks they could probably afford to commission a real artist on their clients behalf, but that would cut into their bottom line and that's what this is all about. If you actually need help publishing your book I recommend seeking advice first from somewhere like the r/selfpublish subreddit, where I'm sure they'd be glad to help you get started.
