Alan and Ian give a true boutique experience. They were consistently attentive, patient, and responsive to my vision as an independent author, and they provided essential tips and advice to ensure the book was in good form. From consulting to concept to production, the process was collaborative and professional. The end result is an exceptionally beautiful book that I am proud to promote. My only regret is not hiring them when I wrote my first book.

My author client went from being pretty unimpressed with the book cover design process overall, to absolute delight after working with Alan, Ian, and the team at Book Designers. All of their design options were well done, and their follow-up on our feedback was accurate and timely. Extremely professional, responsive, and they got the job done so fast. We absolutely love the cover. The design, the colors, and the "fluid" message it gives the reader. The design is literally in motion! They captured exactly what my client was hoping for. This is why Book Designers is my “secret publishing weapon” for my clients!

theBookDesigners created a book far more attractive and professional than I ever thought possible. If you are considering doing this on your own or going elsewhere, forget it! Alan and Ian will produce a design that far exceeds what you can imagine. They did this for my one-of-a-kind full color personal finance book AH-HA! MONEY MOMENTS. They were able to see my vision beyond my own capability, and the result is a book that I, the author, simply cannot stop looking at. Alan and Ian know what they're doing--they have vast experience. They will listen to your ideas and will interact with you quickly and professionally. You won't regret selecting theBookDesigners. (Want proof? Look up AH-HA! MONEY MOMENTS. Their fingerprints are all over it!)

Communication was excellent throughout the project, and they consistently made the process easier to navigate. The finished book exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their work. I would absolutely work with BookDesigners.com again and would gladly recommend them to other authors looking for a professional, dependable book design team. Thank you, Alan and Ian, for helping bring my vision to life! Oliver W. Wilson, Jr. Author, GET UP. GET OUT. GET IN.

Hiring a design team to create a cover for my new series was a big step and came with some nerves, but I admired the work of theBookDesigners that I’d seen online and wanted to see what they might create. I couldn’t be more pleased. Communication was engaging, designs for approval were swift, and the final cover gave me everything I wanted but hadn’t been able to articulate (or visualize). Now I can’t wait until it’s time to get the cover for book two! If you’re looking for a talented team with exceptional design sensibility, strong communication skills, and an understanding of the marketplace, then look no further.

Working with theBookDesigners was a complete pleasure. I'm thrilled with my cover, It's everything I wanted it to be. The hardest thing about the process, was making my final choice after receiving numerous outstanding drafts. I've been getting the most wonderful feedback from readers. I especially want to acknowledge the assistance they gave me when I was trying to meet a crucial deadline. I so appreciated it. It's obvious that Alan and Ian have a lot of pride in their work and respect for their clients. Not only were the designs exceptional, so was the customer service. When human interaction in business has become a rarity, working with the BookDesigners was a welcome outlier.

I had an exceptional experience working with The Book Designers on the production of my nonfiction book, The Long Game: Designing a Life That Compounds. From the earliest stages through final production, their team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. This was a complex project that included full manuscript layout, placement and editing of multiple diagrams, refinement and improvement of the dust jacket, and creation of a custom faux-cloth casewrap. Every element was handled with care and precision. Alan and Ian were both excellent to work with throughout the process: responsive, thoughtful, and consistently attentive to detail. Questions were answered clearly, revisions were handled efficiently, and the final files were delivered in a truly production-ready format. As a first-time publisher managing my own imprint, I appreciated how smoothly the process was guided from concept through completion. The typography, layout consistency, and overall visual presentation exceeded my expectations. The final result reflects a level of polish that feels comparable to traditionally published books. I would not hesitate to recommend The Book Designers to any author seeking professional-quality book design and production support.

I wanted a studio that was straightforward, fast, and in direct contact with me—not one with long lines of communication through employees and the like. It also needed to be professional and technically skilled. Hey, I got all of that. It was exactly what I wanted. That’s what makes working together fun. The result is fantastic. I’d definitely work with them again.
