Deceptive tactics to provide and charge for services
My daughter took my dog for her annual physical, Bordetella and leptospirosis vaccine and anal gland expression. As she was presented with the charges, when referring to the vaccines, they told her "all the vaccines". What they didn't tell her was that all the vaccines included rabies and distemper. My dog was up to date on the latter two and didn't need them. She had had a tag on her collar with date of the rabies vaccine. She was also tested for tapeworm, but my dog had just received prophylactic treatment for intestinal parasites, and therefore didn't need the testing, which was, surprise, negative. When I complained, I was told my daughter had approved the charges, but my daughter wasn't told the specifics, she was just told "all the vaccines". I disapprove of the deceptive tactics used to provide and charge us for services and we didn't need, and the lack of accountability when I complained.
