Worked out of the box on a Region 2 DVD. Seems like a pretty good value for $50, though the picture is not as crisp as our progressive scan Sony. As others have noted, the DVD drawer is noisy and seems fragile. Time will tell. I expect to use this unit solely for Non-Region 1 DVD playing and keep the Sony as the primary.

I ordered a region-free Samsung DVD player from Bombay. The price was great, service was prompt and accurate, and shipping was faster than I expected. The player arrived in apparently good condition. I ordered it for a birthday gift, so I don't know yet how well it works or how Bombay is to deal with in a problem situation, but so far, I am very pleased.

Great prices and selection on travel adapters. Almost didn't get it in time even with 2 day shipping. Ordered on a Mondaybefore noon and it showed up on Saturday. There was a holiday in between that probably had something to do with it. Otherwise, very satisfied and would use again. Thanks!

My experience with Bombay Electronics was very good. They communicated every step of the way (order confirmation, shipping confirmation, etc.), and I had no problems; everything, in my experience, was very smooth. I especially appreciated that they shipped my item out right away. The product itself came packed very soundly, nested inside 3 different corrugated cardboard boxes, so I appreciated that they took care that it shouldn't get harmed on the way (and also used recyclable materials to do it). I have had no reason to contact their customer service, so can't comment on that. Based on my experience, i would buy from them again.
