We asked for a replacement remote control for our Orei Blue Ray player. We paid for one and then it arrived, on time. But… it did not work. We tried three sets of new batteries, but no luck. So we had to go and buy a Universal remote which worked with this blue ray player. But that didn't work either Sending both back and VERY disappointed. D & S

I understand when on occasion a product may not function properly. The disappointing thing is that they will not send out a replacement until they have mailed me a shipping label and then have also received the faulty product by return mail. This is a $30 item not $300 so I really thought they would send out a replacement along with a label for return shipment. Oh well looks like it will be 3-4 weeks before I finally get what I ordered.

We were looking forward to receiving the shaver we ordered. Instead, we received a notice that our payment was being refunded. This came without explanation, and I can only assume the item was not in stock. But perhaps such information was available when we were placing the order?

I searched all over the internet for a hard to find Pioneer DV-430V and finally found one listed for sale on Bombay Electronics, so quickly placed my order. About 24 hours later I received an e-mail announcing "Your order has been Shipped (Bombay Electronics)" It even included a tracking number. Then I called Bombay to ask why I had been charged $16 for Shipping when the site had my Pioneer listed as "Free Shipping". It was then that I learned my Pioneer had not been shipped at all. I was told in hard to understand broken English that all they had on their shelf was an empty box awaiting a returned product, and I would be getting a credit. This company is apparently a very small, unsophisticated shop that I will avoid in the future.

I bought a DVD player, It arrived while we were in England, the first time I used it, it would not turn on. Then it started to work okay, the second time I tried to use it, it would not work at all. I bought cheap junk.

Product was badly packaged and did not work upon arrival

The product I bought from BombayElectronics was defective. It was Toshiba DVD Player SD5300KU. It plays some store bought DVD's but rejects many as "BAD DISC". I have since bought a DVD Player from a competitive manufacturer to Toshiba and all the reject discs that the Toshiba DVD playin a normal manner. I have contacted Toshiba Support on the telephone as their User's Manual instructs, and their technical expert agreed that the product I had bought was defective, and he would report this to Toshiba Support Center with the acknowledgement that Iwas entitled to a new DVD Player that worked.He sent me to a Toshiba website to place claim for a new machine that I was entitled to, but when I went there Toshiba rejected my imput as not valid. Consequently, I won't buy any product from Bombay Electronics again. They sell junk.
